Product material is not full brass body only spring tap brass and body s.s.t type. Product is good quality and liable or fitting to the bathroom all type basin.

If this is for wash basin, we need to press it every time for water to drain?

No.... Not necessarily. It can be kept in up position always to drain the water. If for some reason, you want the wash basin to be filled with water for some reason, then, you can keep it in locked position till you desire and once you are done with, you can always drain the water.

it's used for sink, it will fit in the middle hole of the sink to the outlet pipe.... consult a plumber to know how
