Delrin Battery Lockers (Waterproof)

I have been looking for a single AA and AAA battery holder for years now and no one seems to make them except for this product. I was under the impression these were metal for some reason but they are plastic which makes sense, since they are holding batteries. The battery does not fit completely snug and there is a tiny bit of room which causes a rattling noise, but that is a easy fix with a tiny bit of paper towel on either end before closing. I am so excited to finally get a single AA and AAA battery holder I can overlook the slight rattling issue. If you are like me and just want a single battery holder get these while you can. I just throw it in my pocket with all my other stuff like keys and pocket knife, etc and it is holding up well and after a month or two rattling around in my pocket it still looks like new. I will definately be ordering a few more of these as backups or for use as small storage for pills, or money while out and about.

Does not fit any of my 18650's. I tried Keeppower (sanyo), Panasonic and also Fenix. None will fit. The diameter of the batteries are too large. I honestly don't know what these battery lockers were made to fit but its not common 18650's. There is quite a size difference. I also thought about just keeping it and using it to store two 16340's (123) and the battery locker is too short for it. I also tried a 14500 (AA) and it just flops around inside. The noise from it flopping around would get annoying. Im sending it back. If these are govt overruns like the description states, the govt must be using some seriously skinny 18650's.

This thing is really awesome! I've got a couple of the Delrin CountyComm vaults for larger batteries and they're uniformly great. Very precisely machines, nice and water tight. The lanyard hole is large enough to fit on most key rings with no issues. There is a very small amount of rattle but I just stuffed about one square inch of a poly bag into the bottom and now it's perfect. Too tight and you'll have issues getting the battery out when you need it so I think they made the right call.

I wish these weren't so expensive, but they are exactly what I wanted. I mount them on the back of my helmet for spares for my headlamps. They are a great weight and easy to use. The 18650 lockers actually will fit my protected cells, which worried me after reading some reviews. If you are on a tight budget, use a waterproof matchstick case and hope it doesn't leak. Otherwise, buy these. The build quality is excellent and they won't leak.
