Smoother and very sharp!
My kitchen knives were dying: the little kitchen knife sharpeners you can by in Lowe’s we’re pitting the edges and doing a just passable job of sharpening: with this sharpening stone it takes more work and its a little messy because the wet stone gets pasty, but my knives are again smooth edged and sharp enough to cut paper/paper towel easily. Of course the veggies, cheese, and meat cut like butter too!:)

it does its job as well as the previous one but better part is that it has really good slip-proof nature
It's my second time getting 1000/6000 sharpening stone. Compared to the previous one, it does its job as well as the previous one but better part is that it has really good slip-proof nature. The case coming with hold stone fairly well that I don't have to worrying about cutting myself (I tend not to use the handle just for better sharpening feeling). I still couldn't figure out the use of small white stone comes with it, but even without that, it worth money. Just put the stone into water, wait until bubble stop coming, and tilt knife about 25 degrees to move back and forth. once you think it is sharp, try to slide knife on cutting board and if you feel little "break", that portion is well sharpened. If you use it for a while, the middle part may gets used up faster than edge, so in order to get max. out of it, better to get a habit of using entire surface.

Works fast
Thing works fast didn't take more than 6 runs to get a super dull knife to be sharp again. i only gave 4 stars on durability because a little chunk broke off the edge but doesn't affect the function at all.

Blades are nice and sharp
I have had this for a while, and I am getting better at sharpening. When I first used it, the knives were sharper, but not like in some YouTube videos where the slice through a bottle of water. As I have gotten better at sharpening, I can see a dramatic difference in how easily I can cut through things.

The stone and the frame look good and comfy
Does the job!The stone and the frame look good and comfy, but the material gets removed pretty fast when sharpenning, but for the stone of that price I guses it is whet you have to expect.

I just can not sharpen a knife
I just can't get a good edge with these stones. I do better with a metal rod. I think the whetstones are good. It's just me. Even checked you tube for methods.

Knife sharpening stone
Easy set up and use. It really did help the knives go from dull to sharp.
