Update: grinding longer produces paste
Organic sesame seeds still smell a bit odd after repeated soaking and draining. Understand color in soaking water due to some natural pigments dissolving. When I drained them and gently transferred to papertowels lined huge serving dish to air dry, noticed a good portion of black skin/peel didn't stay on and some skins were in shreds already? Don't know if due to my fine mesh drainer sieve, but my handling was gentle.Update: grinding the black sesame seeds LONGER after home washed, drained, air dryed, and home roasted, produces some paste-like texture in grinding cup, as expected. Previous doubt if sesame seeds were previously oil-extracted now alleviated.
