Chef Craft Basic Plastic Pop-up Poultry Thermometer, 2 inches in length 3 piece set, White/Red

I don't do a turkey with out this. Most turkeys come with these but with the freezing process I think they can become unreliable Ive had a few holidays that the thermometer doesn't pop if the turkey(and thermometer) has been frozen so now I make sure to have a new pop in thermometer for every turkey I make Ive NEVER had one not pop up on time. Can't recommend them enough the price is great and takes ALL the guess work out of whether the turkeys done or not!!

Popped up when the turkey was done worked great

My dauthers loves these and it works very well to let you know when chicken is done.

We tried two of these out on a five-pound turkey breast. The first popped out in an hour. The other tried to pop at two hours but the red button appeared to have melted and it never fully extended. We used our instant read electronic thermometer to finish cooking the turkey to the recommended temperature. Not a good idea to trust these popups without a backup plan.

3 stars bc the shipping caused it to arrive a week after I needed them and they were over priced but the only option that was SUPPOSED to get here in time. Product works fine. Shipping sucks.

Did not work. Used it in a turkey as recommended and they never popped up.
