PHENOMENAL READ
Wow. I am totally in awe of this phenomenal story I just read. I read the first book when it was released 20 years ago, and decided to re read it before starting this one (even though you don't really need to read the first one. There is enough information in the story that will catch you up.) Kayla and Jasmine have been friends since kindergarten, but an incident 20 years ago stalled their friendship. Kayla's husband, Dr. Jefferson Blake, get's shot while visiting in New York ( where Jasmine and her now husband Pastor Hosea Bush live) and Jasmine is determined to uncover every secret as to what happened to her friend's husband. We also see appearances from Mae Francis (who seems to know everyone and is always getting Jasmine out of sticky situations) as well as the Blake's daughter, Nicole ( who is now in her 30's). It was a phenomenal story line, and I loved the way it ended.

Excellent
Once again she did a superb job with this follow up of Temptation. I read Temptation years ago. Had I not she highlighted significant incidents that happened that kept me abreast of things that Jasmine did in the past to keep from reading it again. The new reader will have no problem connecting the past with the present.

Loved the theme...
I was so glad VCM decided to go back to this storyline...the beginning. This story really shine a light on forgiveness. It also shows that people can change. The conversation between Kyla and Nicole was my favorite part. I was glad that Nicole was able to show her mom that she was not free and needed to forgive Jasmine. Also, it is always wonderful to read about my fav, Mae Frances.

YESSSSSSSS!!!! Another good one!
Victoria does it again!! I don’t know what it is about Jasmine Cox, Kyla Carringon (and even Rachel Adams) that pulls me in but I do so love reading about these women and their wild lives. Lol!! I could not put this book down once I picked it up! What an AWESOME conclusion and I guess new beginning for Jasmine and Kyla whom I missed being together! LOVED this book and hope we will see more from these two in the very near future!

Long awaited tale
I'm glad to see the end of Kyla and Jasmine's journey; but I'm sad to see the end of Kyla and Jasmine's journey. Victoria did an outstanding job of closing the gap left after Temptation. Jasmine is the character you love to hate but just like in Sins of the Mother, this story softens your heart towards her. This is truly a different Jasmine from the first book. She's still a work in progress but life has matured her. I'm 100% team Mae Frances but I have enough room to be team Jasmine too.

Ms. Murray does it again!
I love the Jasmine series and hopefully her and Mae Frances crazy antics continue. Her character is so real with so many wonderful layers. A real Christian woman far from perfect but trying to navigate her way through life but I love the way her imperfections mold her personality. Victoria Christopher Murray does a great job of making Jasmine, Mae Frances and Hosea Bush come to life. Hopefully there's another book to come.

Power of Forgiveness
The way the characters have evolved from the first novel was structured perfectly. No character was left bland in this novel. I really enjoyed Kyla’s struggle to forgive and the whole lesson behind it. Jasmine has definitely changed for the better and with that you know no matter what your past may be, you still have time to turn around for the better.

Another great read
No matter what book you read of Jasmine Bush she will piss you off. After all this time and drama in her life you would think that she would learn to stop lying and making her situations worse than it needs to be. Even when she is trying to do good she makes a situation worse than it needs to be.Spoiler alert 🚨 when she went to visit Lola that was my breaking point I’m thinking why would you give this woman all this information like your the detective. Smh. You gotta love Mae Francis because she always comes in to save the day
