This dehydrator is fantastic. Removable shelves make drying larger items, such as branches of herbs, much easier than the tray style. The unit does not put out much heat, so the sealing is also a bonus over tray styles. Used for everything from herbs, to raisins to jerky, works fantastic every time.

May 21, 2024 - Customer Service ranks in top 5% for supporting us in resolving the problem with the unit not turning on. This was & now continures to be my wife's favorite dehydrator. We have several! The slow response was due to us . . . not the company. They even contacted us to provide assistance on weekends.The issue appeared to be a 'thermal fuse' malfunction - something that can happen with any electrical appliance. My wife's Crownful Dehydrator is working. We have made natto, dehydrated nuts, & made Dr. Davis's Super Gut yogurt (a 36 hr process). Our usual temperature setting range is 100 ~ 110 F for our processing.Suggestion - buy the modestly priced warranty to give coverage for 4 yrs.Previous review: It worked fine until it did not. We only used it to make yogurt in glass containers. It was never used for wet food. We expected it to work for several years . . . it did not. Made a new batch of yogurt and went to our food pantry where it was maintained (house is central A/C). Put the yogurt mix into the space & the lights would not come on. We checked the plug and it was in plugged in. Looked at other electrical items in the pantry and all were displaying electrical connections. We removed the yogurt mix and unplugged the CrownFul dehydrator, plugged it back into an active plug - no lights. Unplugged it again and left it unplugged for several hours. Plugged it in again and the unit lights came on. Proceeded to set the time and temp and pushed the start button. It appeared to come on but there was not fan noise. It shut down turning off all lights on the start panel after about 10 min. For 14 months +/- use, it is very expensive and being not reliable. Customer service instruction suggested sending an email. We have been a long time customer with Amz and find this review process is the most efficient way to communicate a product issue.

Fast, easy,good air flow w fan in back. Fruit leather,fruit. I havent done meat. Wish thet had extra inserts. I had to buy indepedently. It does drip water when initiall starting from bottom of door. I have it sit on a tempered cutting board and place towel. Good company support for recipes. Using a year wo breakage

Having fun with this so far. Well made and looks great. Runs very good and operates as advertised.

I love this product. It’s stainless steel. It dries well just set the time you want. I can smell my products during processing. The tray sizes does the work. I will recommend.

I’ve been using it regularly for over two years to make yummy dehydrated treatos for my pup. Homemade goodies feel so safe and full of love, and I’ve recently shared this recommendation with lots of friends!!

Rewriting my review: Contacted company and they sent me a new one after i sent them video of issue. I appreciate that! So changed my review.I owned crownful bread machine and totally loved it. So I bought this dehydrator. Worked properly 5-7 times. After that the panel where you make the selection would not light up so had to select on blind... But im too busy to complain so used couple of times like that... Now it stopped working all together. When uou plug in light flickers for 2 seconds and then its dead. No matter where you press it would not work. This was total waste of money. I would rate less than 1 star if i could.
