Fantastic Product!
I have had this for a year and a half and absolutely LOVE it! This feeder works flawlessly. The app allows you to set up a regular feeding schedule and also allows you to "feed now" if you are away from home and need it to dispense food. The camera is great because it allows you to check in on your pets while they are eating. The stainless steel bowls are a bit noisy, so we replaced them with these silicone bowls... https://a.co/d/fn74BgA They work and fit perfectly.

I love the 21st Century!
Very easy to set up, very easy to program, very easy to walk away and not have to worry about feeding cats on a routine every day. After reading other reviews, here are my observations. The portion size is not adjustable, but there's a very easy and obvious fix. It's not going to come out at the size that *you* personally may prefer, however, you can set it such that each time it dispenses it sends out 1, 2 or 5 or 50 (or higher) portions, so you get exactly the amount you feel is right, right on schedule. The trick is to take a minute before you set it out and hit the portion button with food in the hopper. Note how much there is then keep count while hitting the button until you see as much food as you wish in both bowls. Mine is set to dispense 5 portions which perfectly satisfies my speedy fuzz cats at both scheduled feeding times. There is a small gate that you place in between the bowls. You do not set it perfectly straight to get even amounts, rather, you skew to the right. The reason is that this dispenses from a wheel type mechanism that has a bias to fill more on the right than left, simple physics. Setting the pointer so that when you're looking at it there is about a 1/5th bias towards the right hand side, will open up the dispensing so that more comes in on the left and less comes in on the right. It took exactly ten seconds to figure this out. Just a bit of trial and error and you should be set. The programming isn't intuitive at first, but follow the manual instructions and it works out fine. I do not have to think about what to press to get desired results any longer. The term we used to use back in the day is RTFM (read the "fine" manual), which turns out is great advice. The battery backup is sweet because it seems like the cats might "accidentally" pull the cord out if they're feeling inclined, or frisky, or just want to cause trouble. It uses 3 x C batteries, so come prepared for that as it doesn't ship with batteries in the box. All in all I love the feeder so far, and recommend it (again, so far). Between this, the roomba, my Worx robotic lawn mower and an incoming pet water dispenser, I'm living the life of a proper 21st century gentleman.

Feeding schedule update
A couple months ago, the camera stopped working. So I reset the thing. Took me a bit to figure that out, and the reset feature is faulty. Had to try several times to get it to reconnect to our wifi. I was very excited when it finally took and the camera started working again. BUT, since then, it won’t keep a feeding schedule. So now every night I have to reset the schedule for the next day because the buttons just turn off. This is getting very old, and I am thinking about purchasing another from another company which is a shame because I really like this one. It worked fine for the first few months. I like the interface and I think it’s one of the more attractive feeders out there. I keep hoping for a software update that can fix the issue, but perhaps I’m the only one experiencing this. I might try and email the company if I can find the address in their manual. For now, I will keep resetting the schedule every evening until I finally lose my patience. 10/14 - Soooo, I think they did an update that addressed this issue because there's an option available that wasn't present before. Now, when I look at the schedule settings, there's an option to repeat. I noticed that it said "never" right below the schedule. So, when I clicked through to the set up module, I see that it has options for repeat. "Never" is one, and it has a couple other options, "Everyday" and "Custom" (what ever that means). Because I didn't hesitate to choose, Everyday. And, now it works! So, I brought the stars up to 4. Now if the camera would work, that would be great because it stopped working. It's just a swirling black hole where my kitties should be. I'll probs have to reset (reboot) the whole thing to get that to work. I was successful doing this once because it stopped working before. Will update again when I do this.

Nice features but too inaccurate to use
Unfortunately we are returning this product. We already have 2 PetLibro water fountains and the smaller 'Air' feeder. They have done their job the 5 months we've had them and our cats like them. The one drawback for the Air feeder is its size - with 2 cats I have to refill it ever 3-5 days. Otherwise it works well. Some reviews were concerned it didn't dispense accurately but I measured several times and it always provided an amount within about 10% of expected - close enough. So I ignored the reviews that said to be careful of this same problem with the Granary. I thought the larger capacity of the Granary meant I'd be able to go 1-2 weeks between refills given it was 2.5x the capacity. My wife also liked the idea of the camera feature so she could see if the cats were eating equally or if just one was using it more. When I set up the Granary it looked like the same mechanism as the Air, but it doesn't work the same way or nearly as well. For some reason it takes a looong time to dispense. Doing the testing during setup took 5 minutes to get it running but over an hour to test how well it put out food because dispensing even just 4x portions took forever (what was supposed to be 1/3rd of a cup). For some reason it pauses between each portion (portion, pause, portion, pause...) and each portion takes almost as long as several portions from the Air. It also makes a lot more noise than the Air, on top of the food hitting the bowl - it sounds like it is straining to dispense the food. I could live with slow dispensing, it was the wildly inaccurate dispense amount that was the deal breaker. The other reviews are right. I tried dispensing in cups, grams, and oz (all 3 possible units). It *never* dispensed more than half as much as it was told. If it always dispensed half I could adjust and just double the scheduled servings. However it wasn't just wrong, it was also wildly inconsistent - dispensing between 20% and 50% of the directed amount with no pattern to the ratio. These aren't guessed values - I recorded the requested amount and then used a measuring cup or scale to measure the result, testing multiple times with different portion counts. There is no way to compensate for that much variability. I followed the troubleshooting and definitely put out way more then the 'it will be inaccurate for the first 6 servings'. The kibble I use (purina pro plan kitten) is within their size recommendation (they have a handy 'no bigger than this' sticker on the machine). Nothing improved the inaccurate and inconsistent serving sizes. Maybe my particular kibble is just too close to being the wrong size or shape despite fitting in their recommended circle. Back to using the smaller Air feeder.

It stopped responding 😒
UPDATE! It was not working due to thebAWS outage abd it's functional again. We again love this feeder. Five stars🙂 Well it was great until it wasn't. It's stopped responding to the app. My wifi says it's connected and I can ping it but when trying to connect the cat feeder says not connected. Worked for about two months with no issues. Sadly I'm past the return window so I guess I'm screwed. Yes, I've followed all the suggested troubleshooting steps. 😡🤬

Convenient but with varying reliability
1. The feeder itself is fine, it’s pretty easy to set up and it always dispenses food at the correct times. It’s easy to clean because the bowls come up and the sound of it dispensing food is pretty quiet. That being said, this thing never dispenses the same amount of food twice. I feed my cats 1 cup total of food from this per day because I have a little glutton and sometimes I’ll wake up in the morning and there’s a whole cup sitting there. Pictured is “1/6 of a cup.” I’m trying to keep my cats on a diet but i may need to stop using this to better control their portions. 2. The app is TERRIBLE. The user experience is pretty horrible, the UI around setting up feedings is unintuitive and the recorded video features are really buggy and half the time just don’t work. Sometimes the app just decides not to connect to the device (I know my internet is fine!!) and I can’t tell it to feed my cats extra meals when I’m away. At first I was so happy to be able to check in on my kitties while I was away but I quickly realized it was too much of a hassle. If they improved the reliability and user experience of the app this would be a lot more convenient.

It works good
Have to give couple weeks to see how it goes but so far cats don’t have problems with it. I got the double bowl and camera with 5L. I would definitely get the bigger one 5L. Have to see how long that last with 2 cats. The camera works and is free no subscription required unless you want backup online. Other reviews make it sound like you have to get subscription to see camera. You get live view and notification for free. The amount of cat food dispensed starts at 1/12 of a cup. That very small amount, so you want 1 cup you have to set the app to 12/12. The app lets to set up to 4 cups of food to be dispensed at 1 time. Racoon proof first night. I have raccoons that come on porch at night eat left over cat food. So with the feeder I set to only put out as much food as the cats will eat. The thing holds like 8 pounds of cat food. The raccoons were looking at the feeder but have not tried to get inside or knock top off. The top cover were you fill it up has lock. I believe the dispenser is can’t be reached with paws. Update- Had it for 5 days and I tried dispensing 2 cups in morning and it’s to much food at one time. I got warning about clogged dispenser chute. That was not problem because the cat eat the food in bowls and the extra food fell into bowls. Now I just dispense 1 cup 6:30am. The cats eat that and dispense another 1/2 cup(6/12 cup in app) at 8:30am. Then dispense 1/2 cup at 2 pm and 1/2 cup at 6:30pm. That’s 4 events per day. In the app you can have up to 6 feeding per day. The 2 bowl 5L uses the PETLIT PRO app(there is lite version for other feeders) the Pro app has many settings and notifications you can turn off if you want. Feeding two cats I can probably get 5-7 day with the 5L unit. I should have filled it up to very top first time. I had another stray cat showed up and I did manual feed for him from app. It did disconnect from WiFi 2 time for about 1 hour but it reconnected automatically. I had two firmware updates from the app also. The camera has lots of white out in daytime.

Smart, Reliable, and Perfect for Multi-Pet Homes! 😻📹🍽️
This PETLIBRO automatic cat feeder is hands-down one of the best pet gadgets I’ve ever bought! With 1080p HD video and night vision, I can check in on both of my cats anytime — day or night — and the clarity is fantastic. The built-in camera gives me peace of mind when I’m away from home. The app control is super intuitive: I can schedule meals, dispense portions, and even talk to my cats using the 2-way audio feature. They love hearing my voice at mealtime! The feeder also sends alerts for low food, motion, and sound, which is incredibly helpful for keeping track of feeding habits and safety. This model is great for two cats, and the portion control ensures each meal is just right. Setup was a breeze, and the 5G WiFi connection stays reliable with minimal lag. If you want a smart, convenient way to feed your pets and stay connected while you’re out, this feeder is worth every penny. Highly recommend! 🐾💫
