As a piano teacher with more than five years teaching experience, I would love to recommend this book for beginner who can read music fairly well but just start playing on piano. This book integrate with fundamental playing skills with beautiful short pieces which makes learning interesting!

I use these Etudes collections along with Dozen a Day. My students love the pieces, and they're great for beginning work with the metronome.

Although the pieces help on sight reading, they are bizarre in composition and range from stunningly simple to arcanely difficult. You're better off beginning with First Lessons In Bach - Book I
