Student Solutions Manual for Stewart/Redlin/Watson's Precalculus: Mathematics for Calculus, 6th

This book was and will be a lifesaver. It doesn't show every single step, but with the book you can gather the idea of what they're doing. Buy this is you even think you may need help. Many students in my class complained about being confused and yet wouldn't buy this book. It's worth it, trust me.

Maybe I've had a bad streak of luck, our maybe the other reviewers are expecting too much, but I've only had one other solution manual and it wasn't any better than this one. It doesn't show every single step but it helps push you in the right direction. I use it every time iDo homework and it saves me alot of time when i get stuck, but you may still need to flip around in your text book if you are really confused.

Great solutions manual for the Precalculus class that I had to take this past semester. It really helped show me how to do the problems when I was stuck and showed different way that added to what the instructor was showing us! Very highly recommended!

This solutions manual doesn't do a bad job, but they seem to skip steps when explaining the processes which ends up confusing more often than really helping.

This solutions manual is probably the worst that I have rented. It does not explain how answers are derived, and answers are frequently wrong. I find that the back of the book is just as useful.

My professor doesn't use any of the computer aided programs that every other teacher did use. The only down fall to this manual is that it only shows the odd numbered problems. Hence four star's, thankful that's all we are every assigned in my class. If you just want the answers to the problem go to the back of the book, however if you want to know how to solve something step by step then you need this companion book with it.

I needed it for school.
