D'Addario NW020 Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Single String

It’s a single string, it’s the gauge I wanted, but we all know why I’d be getting a single string. It’s either because I’m replacing a broken one, or I’ve already purchased a set and replacing one of the strings in it to fit the gauge to my liking due to the limited packs available. It’s just too expensive and wasteful to be buying single strings to replace other strings in a pack you’ve already purchased. Obviously you can buy each single string to match the gauge you’re after, but that ends up being a lot more expensive. Why there isn’t some kinda discount for ordering 6 single strings (a set) I don’t know. Obviously this isn’t too bad if you’re replacing your string every month or so, but I replace mine very frequently due to recording purposes. I just wish there was a better and cheaper way to customise your own string gauge/set.

Only buy this if you have a scale length longer than 26.5”, other wise it’s all mud and thud. It’s way too think to have any definition if I’m honest. If you wanna go low, buy extended range and keep it as light as you can get away with. Other than that, the quality of string is excellent 👌
