Nice monitor for home.
I’m updating my review now that i’ve had it a couple days, and downgrading from 5 to 4.My only complaint is that it goes thru the battery pretty quickly (about a day). But it updates the display every few seconds, so that may be why. O/W, i’m still very happyI have another Inkbird monitor. This one, like my other, worked right away. Bright display is easy to read. Controls are simple. Rechargeabe battery (USB C) is great. I like the portability. It verifies and quantifies why my Dyson air cleaners are running on 10.

I am impressed with Inkbird"s many products.
The media could not be loaded. I ordered and received this Air Quality Monitoring device the same day with Prime. Simple instructions made it ready to go. First, I want to stress that this monitor has 6 sensors and is designed to be moveable with battery backup, it lasts for about 24 hours when powered on with just the battery. I read reviews on the Battery and there were many Un warranted complaints. I went back to the information on Amazon, and it clearly states that it should be plugged in with provided power. (This is not a stand-alone battery unit.) Inkbird does have a battery mode module.First I did an inside calibrating overnight. The next morning it was looking like I was breathing great air and no CO2 leaks as my bar in in the next room. (See CO2 bottles) I was watching the News andall of a sudden, the AQI went over !00 (had the alarm on) I went to the kitchen (see in the video what set it off.)The next 3 photos are an example of calibrating outside. It starts at 200 sec. and counts down to 1 and thinks a few seconds, then resets values. I had to set up the date, time and start all over but it calibrated as instructed.I moved it around to a few places and took photos in the upstairs bathroom, my garage, the barn to show different usage while moving freely with just the battery backup.Next, I checked my garage after having used my favorite Chevy and all was good.I found this monitor to be very accurate, (I did wait most times to times to let the monitor settle in place.)some of the photo's readings was only to showing versatility of the unit. (It was not in place for a proper reading.)One of the photos a Inkbird Radon detector and Inkbird plug and play temperature controller are shown. I love Inkbird products and highly recommend this AQI monitor.Note: Photo for outside calibration (order of photos order are) as followed see #5 next #3 next # 1and #11 is the total reset after 200 second calibration.

Good for the price
This CO2 monitor is basic, but gets the job done. Expect to pay much more for anything more sophisticated. My work got several of these to monitor ventilation in conference rooms, and I liked them enough to get one for my small apartment. It helps to know when to open the windows.Pros:Easy to use.Large bright display that can be turned off for the night or to save battery.Battery lasts a full day.Alarm that can be set to any level, or left off.Cons:Absolute calibration only good to about 100 units. I saw this by comparing 2 detectors side by side in an empty room. This is not really a problem because the difference between good and bad ventilation is several hundred units. No history function. It’s impossible to turn off the alarm buzz without turning off the entire alarm function. You then have to remember to turn it back on once the level is low enough.Overall I’m happy with it.

Inaccurate where it counts
I'll start off by saying it's 100% accurate with temperature and humidity. Unfortunately it is not accurate where it counts co2 readings.First the good. Bright display and big numbers I can see it from a good distance. Good accuracy on temp and humidity. The okay. The battery life isn't great but it does have multiple things it's doing so at least it can be plugged in.The bad. Wildly inaccurate co2 readings. We have an area that is professionally monitored at 1200ppm consistently inkbird reads it at 990. While just sitting in a room regardless of no air flow it randomly fluctuates between 200 and 900.Yes, I did callibrate outdoors upon opening. It gave a proper reading outside so I thought we were good to go. Sadly that was the first and last time it was accurate. I bought it because I wanted one to take with me to random places. I should have just invested in aranet or something else that has a better chance. Those aren't 100% but least it's a ballpark. The inkbird is just completely random.Hard to say if I got a lemon or not since majority of folks buying this won't have professional monitoring to compare it to but for me it doesn't work. If you want an accurate thermometer/humidity sensor but don't expect the co2 to be accurate or even relatively in the ball park.

CO2 might work but temp and humidity don’t
Temperature and humidity don’t work. CO2 seems to work but I don’t know how accurate. Battery life is longer if you turn off the screen backlight.
