I already owned this dolly. I use it almost daily. I started to finally work on my own projects and found that I left it at home too many times. The great thing about this dolly on a stick is using aluminum vise jaws to hold it in a vice. Then you can hammer in various positions. I personally use this for motorcycles. I’m building a CB350f into a Cafe Racer. Martin body hammers and dolly’s are excellent tools. If you buy these on a tool truck they are about $80. So I saved $30 and I will never need to warranty this dolly. And I will be able to give this tool and others to my granddaughter if she wants to learn this trade. The end of the handle is perfect for hitting with a 2 or 3 pound hammer and driving your metal from the back side. The nose of it is nice and rounded so you don’t have to worry about sharp edges tearing the metal. In the video, I tried to show how I would use this dolly versus an anvil that weighs 200lbs. My aluminum vise jaws are at work. Also, I’m adding drywall to my workshop. This way you know I’m a real human reviewing a tool I use. My shop is a mess and I know a lot of you have dealt with a messy shop. Happy hammering friends.

This spoon dolly by Martin is built tough, a great price after shopping others, speedy delivery. I had a mishap with a road median giving me a blowout on my left front tire also damaging the 2 left steel wheels slightly bending the rim lips. I contoured the spoon dolly myself to fit the radius of the rim lip and using a 3 lb sledge hammer reshaped the rim lips pretty close to what they were before the mishap.

Sturdy, handy, and perfect for those hard to reach places. Great combination to use with a slapping file to do some fine metal Work. Makes body work a lot easier without having to rely completely on a stud welder when you can’t get behind parts easily. Definitely recommend, great quality from Martin.
