Yaktrax Walker Traction Cleats for Snow and Ice, Black, Medium

There are lots of effective ice creepers available but Yaktrax are the only ones I've found that you can wear outdoors, then inside without damaging flooring. As I get older, I find bending over to put creepers on and take them off progressively more difficult, so Yaktrax are the perfect solution. Do they provide the same traction as spiked crampon-like devices? No. But they provide a great deal of traction and if you walk carefully, they're all you need for normal walking or recreational running. The simple sandal design easily goes on and off over a variety of shoes and boots. On a scale of 1 to 10, I go full Spinal Tap and give them an 11.

I bought a pair of these because I have mobility problems and ice is my archenemy - but I still have to get to work! They arrived when we were gripped by frozen snow and I had already spent a couple of days off work simply because I couldn't get past the front gate. On went the YakTrax and off I went, walking down with the street with significant confidence! They work. Only an idiot would trust them 100% of course, you still have to be careful out there but my life has been turned around by this clever little device. I would recommend them to anyone who fears walking on ice or frozen snow. The fact that you can slip them on and off as well makes them very convenient to use when shopping or walking in variable areas. I wish that I had found out about them years ago!

Je le recommande FORTEMENT à 1000%, pour les personnes âgées et fragile et les piétons, je l'ai moi même acheté et ne me suis pas retrouver en difficulté pour marché dans le verglas ou dans la neige. They don't look like they'd work but they do work and very well at that. Been using them for years, would recommend them to my Mother. I walk Dogs twice daily year 'round & in all seasons. They've saved my ass numerous times. The material they use to hold them on your boots might look a little flimsy (i think they're a bit thinner than the originals) but they're tough and not gonna fall off your boots.
