Functional design, and serves its purpose, only drop rated for "4 feet" of impact protection.
The matte black TPU material has a smooth, yet grippy texture to it, and it "blends in" with my iPhone X quite well. I feel like there could've been room for more storage, as the recommended carrying capacity of the case is at two cards maximum, however there are no visible protrusions on the back of this case, unlike most other traditional wallet cases. The case is only rated for a "military rating" of four feet, and I've had cheaper cases from Tech21 and Speck with significantly higher drop ratings of 8-12 feet, for a cheaper price, but I recently got a learner's driving permit and needed a secure place to store my ID card, which led me to purchasing this case. There is a (very slight) raised edge on the screen side of the case, giving added protection for phones without screen protectors; however I highly recommend using a screen protector with this case, there is still a high chance of having an uneven surface damage your screen. I have a screen protector installed on my iPhone X, and the case fits just fine, and is easy to remove even with the screen protector on. I don't know if the case is Qi wireless charging compatible, as some reviews are mentioning that having more than one card inside the storage compartment will hinder your ability to wirelessly charge, however this is also subject to the coil strength on your personal wireless charger. The buttons are super clicky and despite being made of TPU plastic, retain the tactile feel of the power button, however the volume up/down buttons require a bit more pressure to activate. Alongside the buttons, the cutouts on for the speaker, microphone array, cameras, as well as the silent switch are very precise and tight fitting; and while I don't use a third party lightning cable for charging, the cutout is big enough to accommodate most, if not, all third party cable types. My only "complaints" with this case are with the plastic wallet cover, which mainly held on by pressure and slight indents for the corners, and I suspect that the plastic casing will separate in the event of a hard drop. On the topic of drops, the case is advertised as being rated for a four feet "military drop test rating" and for the price, I can find much cheaper cases from reputable brands that offer a drop test rating of 8-12 feet; however those cases lack a wallet, or the slim design of the Spigen Slim Armor CS. I also noticed slight scratches near the edge of the colored plastic backing, only after a few weeks of usage, and I question the long-term durability of the plastic material.Overall, its a really good looking case (in my opinion), and it serves its purpose well, however you better choose wisely between your top two cards that you get to carry on the back of this case, and hope for the best in the event of a drop where your phone falls more than four feet.

I believe I liked it better because the cards could be slid out ...
Well this is the 3rd iPhone Spigen case I’ve owned. It began with an iPhone 6 Plus that the entire back slip down to access, then my iPhone 7 case that the bottom flipped up to reveal the cards to slide out. That was the easiest to get the cards out but took a two handed effort to peel the case open. I believe I liked it better because the cards could be slid out and because of the design I had no fears of it accidentally opening. This case though yet another change in design and very similar to a Verus case I purchased for my iPhone 6 Plus has a door that slopes sideways and the molded lip to this does make for a much easier grab to slide the door open. Then however it does require some effort to grab the cards out because instead of a sliding action like the previous design you must pinch the card with fingertips to extract the cards. Maybe if I had long nails it would help but I don’t so it’s more effort to grab them and sometimes is a little difficult. I finally realized my best assault was to trap at the corner of the card the pull it out. Overall though I’m not quite as satisfied with this design over the prior I must point out the positive. The case feels good and smooth to the design of the phone. Well made as Spigen make quality cases in my opinion. I have my drivers license and one credit card with me in my phone because I don’t leave home without it and I feel secure in recommending this case to anyone and I don’t have any concerns that the door will accidentally open and lose my cards. Great case. Please keep making them Spigen. Guess I’m a fan boy but I’m not a paid sponsor

Overall, the best case I found
I bought three of these credit-card-storage cases to try them out - a Clayco, a Titanium, and this Spigen. All were good cases. The Clayco is the lightest and offers the least protection of the three. I'd rate it offering medium protection especially around the perimeter. The card slot is at the bottom and is fairly well made. It holds two credit cards and my drivers license, but just barely. The Titanium is the plainest looking of the three, but offers the most protection for the phone. Very light and it easily holds three credit cards plus an ID. The Spigen is my favorite of the group. I've owned this brand before and they've always been good. The slide-card is not my favorite design, but this one just barely holds two credit cards plus my ID. The Spigen also has the best phone buttons - for what that's worth. Summary: Clayco is best looking but offers least protection. Titanium offers most protection and most storage room, but is the least attractive. Spigen is well made, has the best finish and best buttons, phone protection is better than the Clayton but not quite as good as the Titanium.

Great protection and functionality, but bulky
If you want a slim-fit case that doesn't detract from the svelte profile of the iPhone X, then this isn't for you.But if you want good protection from drops along with the added functionality of a card holder, this is a fantastic case. The credit card / ID compartment is big enough to fit two cards easily; a third could probably go in with a little nudging. The rubber fits snugly on the iPhone without any slipping. It's easy to install too. Just remember to remove the plastic back from the rubber insulation first.Pros: attractive case, good fit, great protection from drops, holds two cardsCons: adds considerable bulk to the phone and even a bit of weight

Convenient phone case
I used to be a monster, wandering through the world with a case-less iPhone. I purchased this case after I received a replacement for my mangled and disfigured iPhone. It's a very convenient case because aside from my phone, I only need my ID and credit card when I leave the house. The case holds one card perfectly. Two cards are alright. Three...you can do it but you're really pushing it. The case has lasted me five years and has done its job of protecting my phone when I've dropped it. Now that I have switched to a different phone, the first thing I did was look for a similar case for it. This is a great case.

Great case as usual from Spigen
The case is a good quality product. This is what expected from Spigen as usual. This is not the slimmer case you may find but it does the job protecting your phone and also giving you the posiibility to add 2 cards on the back. Very convenient when you don't want to have you wallet nor have any big pocket.Well, you may try to add 3 cards but the case will not correctly close, or at least that is what I saw from my own experience with it.Go for it if you want a solid case and all its functionalities as described in the product selling page.

Exdellent
