This is the best router I've ever had. I had an older Linksys (1200) thatwas getting 96 mbps and I was thinking it was the cable company B.S.'ingme about their service. This thing pulls 987 mbps.... Night and day difference.

We have been using Linksys routers for 6 plus years. This Linksys WIFI performs as expected. However, the instructions and process of getting it to perform was confusing and very time consuming.THEY SAY SET UP IN only 10 MINUTES!! Jive talk. Maybe it takes 10 minutes to take out of the box and plug in the wires. Way to confusing. There were many issues and questions that I could find no answer.Just IMPROVE the instructions and set up process

This router, MR20EC, was fairly easy to set up. Noticed better speeds compared to our older router. After 3 months it quit working, and factory reset does not help. Does not show up as a Wi-Fi device and reboots itself every 2 minutes. Do not recommend getting this item. Routers should not do this after 3 months. I do not plan on purchasing this brand in the future.

My old router would cease working once 200mbps would come into the house. My ISP provides super fast, reliable internet. I pay for 500+ mbps. I purchased this Linksys router and it has solved the speed problem. Setup was easy. It took about 45 minutes from unboxing to enjoying high speed internet. Setup was easy. The phone app did all the work. The device os not bulky. It is small and sleek. It has it's place on the top shelf of my shelving. The signal travels all through the two-bedroom house, the back yard, and almost all the way to the carport, which is pretty far away. Newer routers are too expensive for me, but this one was the right price. Excellent value.

You may get a router with older firmware. With the older firmware, the default splash screen for managing the app doesn't make it clear how to get to the router setup. IF you have the older firmware there is no hyperlink to bypass the splash screen. To do this, you need to click on the two phones image. This will let you log into the management UI with the password "admin".If you have newer firmware there's a nice big hyperlink to continue to router setup.ONCE YOU SETUP YOUR ROUTER MAKE SURE TO CHANGE DEFAULT ADMIN PASSWORD AND UPDATE FIRMWARE!!

I changed my internet provider to Starlink and opted to use the passthrough mode, using the Hydra 6 router with my existing Linksys Velop system. We have a 2-story poured concrete house so we needed better WIFI range. Tech support was fantastic at helping me get my new router to work with my existing nodes and devices. I couldn't be happier with the results. Tech support solved every problem I ran into, which was due to my personal inexperience with wifi systems. I'm not a techie, but I have now have WIFI throughout the house.
