Fantastic Quality
I rarely feel compelled to write reviews on Amazon, since most stuff is so mediocre. If it's horrible and hazardous, I'll leave a review to warn folks. And occasionally when something is super awesome- but there are many similar items on here, I will chime in: hence, here we are. This is my first time making madeleines, and I needee minis, because they're going to be part of a ridiculous cake for a friend. I haven't used any from-scratch recipes yet, just testing the stuff I need for said bday cake. But so far, using a standard gluten-free chocolate cake box mix.... this pan is amazing! It's mostly non-stick, but when I lightly buttered it- the madelines slid out with perfect lines. I tried a batch without butter, and they did stick ever so slightly so they came out, but bits of detail were lost. Buttered is better. Super cute. They take mere minutes to bake. They puff up perfectly and cool off quickly. I love it so much that I just ordered a second pan even though I don't need it for the cake. ☺️ Seems to be a very well made pan. But because of the coating, I'd suggest careful handwashing, or maybe a lower heat dishwasher cycle. I'll be handwashing mine.

Perfect Madeleines Every Time
This pan is fantastic! super sturdy and makes Madeleines in the perfect size, not too big and not too small. It’s also ideal for chocolate shell Madeleines. They don’t stick, release easily, and have a beautiful shiny finish. Just pour melted chocolate into each cavity, place your Madeleines on top, and press down. Pop the pan in the freezer for 10 minutes, and the chocolate-shelled Madeleines will release effortlessly with a gentle push.

Mini has its pros and cons
I ordered this knowing it was mini, which I thought would make a nice accompaniment to a selection of macarons and chocolates for a small family celebration with a French theme. CONS: I wish the ridges on the shell pattern were more visible/defined on the finished cakes. It’s possible a different recipe would show the ridges better. I’m also going to try browning them a bit more to see if that helps. I do feel like the photos used in the listing could be misleading about the depth of the ridges. PROS: I buttered half the pan and buttered+floured the other half — in both cases, the cakes came out of the pan beautifully while still hot. The pan is very easy to store (or even display) and fits comfortably on a half sheet pan to slide inside my standard electric oven. Bite size is cute and a nice option for a lot of reasons — a half batch of batter that is listed to make 16 full size madeleines yielded roughly 40 of the minis, making it easy for people to have a bite or two with other treats. If I wanted a really classic madeleine with a really obvious scallop pattern, this wouldn’t be the right pan. I may add a full size at some point for those occasions. But everyone here is very happy with the results because bite-size buttery cakes are dreamy. So I can’t really complain.

Great pan
My daughter wanted to try to make Madeline’s for a school project. The pan worked well and the mini size was just big enough.

Great nonstick pan
I'd originally wanted a non-coated pan for my madeleines as I don't like non-stick coatings. Unfortunately I didn't find any suitable ones, so I had to opt for nonstick. The pan is actually the colour as shown in the photo, I thought that it only looked grey because of the lighting, and that the pan itself would be black. This is a good thing, because it means the pan doesn't brown the bottoms of the madeleines as much as if it were black. I made my first batch of trial madeleines within two hours of opening the package, and in the rush, I forgot to oil the first two cups. Turns out I had nothing to worry about; the madeleines slid right out without even waiting for them to cool. Next time I'll be able to skip the oiling step which is great (although I wouldn't mind doing it on an uncoated pan). The bottoms were nicely browned, the centres were cooked well, and the tops were nice and golden. Very nice and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. One slight issue I have and which I have not knocked any stars off for (because it is likely down to my lack of experience, not the pan's fault), is that the edge of the madeleine browns far too quickly compared to the rest of the madeleine, so it almost looks burnt whilst the rest of the cake is perfect. I'd be interested to know if this is actually due to the pan, and will do some more testing.

This is my first madeleine pan and I chose this model for its good reviews and price range. When the pan arrived however, it had two small dents along one long side of the pan. Possibly damaged during delivery. Wrote to Seller about this but there hasn’t been any respond so far (3 days now). I just wanted to point out that the item should’ve been packed with better protection but instead It came wrapped only with a flimsy plastic bag and soft-padded envelope. Since dents were at the side, it does not affect the shape of the madeleines. So I decided to go ahead to use the pan anyway. I’m quite pleased with the outcome. Madeleines browned and shaped nicely from the shell molding. They also slid out easily due to its non-stick feature. Pan is lightweight but seems durable. Easy cleaning since nothing was stuck post baking. Less one star due to poor packaging.

Very please with this madeleines sheet, cleans very easily, they don’t stick which is a great aspect. Light weight. Madeleines kinda came out looking kinda funny, but they tasted great, I would totally buy more
