Use mine for casing cut off. It works perfect with the jig I bought for it. You have to bolt the jig directly to the bottom plate . Cut good with a nice clean cut I would recommend

This is a great little saw, be aware that the small size prevents it from having much power. I use it for very small trim and fabrication jobs. I made some thin mild steel firearm magazine floor plate/retainers without a hitch using the carbide blades. The instructions stink; you will need to work out how to turn it on using your thinking cap. The operation of the safety switch is straight forward after you find it, but not explained clearly in the directions. If you are not adept using small power tools pass on this one.

Excellent little chop saw for cutting zinc came used in stained glass. Sturdy and well built.

Not worth the money spent. I used it to cut hollow knife handles. Cut 6 without difficulty. however after that it lost power to cut through even after changing to a new cutting blade.

This product is for light duty work. It's great for hobby type jobs.

The manual is incomplete. Nowhere you will find how to remove the blade. Luckily, I found a video on youtube that shows that you have to insert 2nd allen wrench in the bottom of the body to lock the shaft in order to loosen the blade. The saw works well cutting 2mm threaded rod. It could have earned 5 stars rating but I have to take 2 stars off due to poorly written manual.

I bought this to cut carbon arrows and it works perfectly for that especially with the grinding wheel. Very smooth cuts. Recommended!

Ultimately I had to return this item. It is useful for small craft projects, but the hinge of the arm of the miter doesn't extend high enough for cutting thicker wooden dowels for crafts.
