Bore Guides with 3-4 Muzzle Guides, Aluminum Tube, for Rod Alignment, Cleaning, and Gunsmithing

I bought this bore guide to protect the throat and bore of my 7mm Rem Mag rifles. The bore guide comes with 3 different sized universal tips requiring you to find the one that fits your rifle the best. The brass handle is screwed into a plastic ring that can move forward and back when the brass handle is loosened up. Once you get the bore guide set in place just slide the handle forward, turn it down into the bolt lock, and tighten the brass handle (acts as a set screw). The rear opening of the bore guide allows you to start a brush or patch before applying solvent or oil through the open window on the end. This is a nice feature to keep you from making a mess moving from a solvent bottle to the bore guide and also keeps you from dripping all over the action when you're inserting a brush. So far so good on the quality of this product. I figure for the price if I only get 3-5 years worth of use out of it then it has more than paid for itself and I will definitely buy another. The fact that it will protect the throat and bore of my rifles adds that much more value to this product. It fits what rifles i have cleaned so far. It helps keep solvents out of the trigger area. Seams to be good quality. It helps protect the bore from unwanted rod scraping. It has a nice appearance.

It’s a good product does what it’s intended to do . However this is the second product I’ve bought from Tipton on Amazon that appears to have been used, opened and not in new condition . I’ll keep it , but they should know people buy products new expected to get a new product in new condition . Could have happened by transport or shipping who knows . If you need a good bore guide that will work with several calibers this is fine and a decent price .

I’ve used this dozens of times on 3 different rifles and it does the job well. So nice to have a proper setup for cleaning the bores on my guns.

If you like cleaning your gun, this is a must have. You could start your swab and put the solvent cleaner on the swab so easy.

fit my 30 cal rifles and my 22 bolt rifles

I’ve used it a few times on different rifles in different chamberings, and it worked pretty good besides on my Model 70s. The Model 70s use a blade extractor that the bore guide can get past, but it’s hard to get it out. On my rifles with plunger ejectors(Remington 700, Weatherby vanguard, etc) it doesn’t have this issue since there’s nothing for it to get caught on. Its worked pretty good on my long action 700 and my short action Vanguard with no real issues. The build quality for its price is pretty alright, it’s pretty much a tent pole with plastic guides in the end. It’s easy to use, and a nice extra bit of protection if you’d like to have it.

En effet il est impossible de l'incérer dans le boitier de culasse . Cet article est principalement fait pour les percussions centrales . Je demande donc le remboursement de cet article .
