We planted this last fall and it came up well, but there were a number of weeds which came up too (hopefully weren't in the grass seed). Clearing out the weeds has left 'bald' spots and we are still waiting for the grass to cover them (finally just put additional seed on them and are waiting for it to come up).

This is expensive but when you want your front yard to dominate, there is no other seed.BTW the seller sent me uncoated seeds despite it saying its coated.. Either way the pic speaks for itself. This was mowed at 3.125 inches. Grows like weeds and I barely watered it. This is not home depot or lowes grade stuff. This is real grass. I have decades of experience with prepping and properly seeding large grass plots. This product may turn out ok but the emergence and extremely slow growth (thus far) has been very disappointing. I am meticulous on seedbed prep and watering and this seed simply has not taken off as I had expected.
