Greater BBQ Tool
I gave been using this propane torch for several months to light my charcoal grill and it works flawlessly. Lights quickly and it’s easy to control the flame. Perfect for lighting charcoal or backyard bonfires.

So much better than Grillblazer
I was one of the first with the original Grillblazer and in general I loved it. However it's difficult to start up and will shut down when pointing down which is a bummer. This torch takes all the goodness of Grillblazer and improves it greatly. I'm loving it - especially at a fraction of the cost of Grillblazer.

Searing those steaks
10/10 on first use, very easy to lite and control. Rendered the fat on my prime rib eyes and gave a lovely sear. Worth the money, can use it to burn weeds too.

Tricky to Start
As another reviewer has mentioned (thank you!) to start this is a little tricky. Rotate the on switch a little as possible (listen for the release of gas), then click the starter button. If you rotate too much, no way will this start. At first we thought the starter didn't work because of this. The manual that comes with this is pretty much useless. But once we got the hang of it (hold at a 45 degree angle, barely turn to on, then ignite), it works like a charm.

I LOVE this torch.
I've been a fan of fire since I was in 3rd grade. I cleared the lot behind our house that summer by burning the cut-down trees & underbrush in campfires. Now 60 yrs later & I'm still fascinated about using fire to get things accomplished. I tried one of those long propane weed torches but it was too heavy for me to lug around the tank & too dangerous to use that much fire power near my wooden fences & trees. So I tried this handheld torch & am very happy. I use a little green camping gas bottle like on my camp stove, but I bought an adapter too so that I can refill the little bottle from my big propane tank. Much cheaper then having to buy multiple little bottles & nothing to throw away. This little torch is powerful enough to do the job, but easier to control the flame. The real damage is done in front of the flame where the temps are hottest so this smaller torch is safer for me to use. Maybe it's not for everyone, but it is for me out gardening with my walker. I burn weeds a little, dig a little, amend the dirt a little, pat it down all neat ready to plant, then move on to the next spot. My son loves it too so I turn him loose where I can't get along ditches & culverts. My yard is still a mess but it is no longer a lost cause with my little torch in my yard tool wagon. I found the best time to burn weeds is after a rain or snow melt. That intense of heat works best when the roots are full of water. This little torch 'boils' the roots to kill them faster then dry burning them will.

Wow!!
Torch is easy to operate and makes a huge flame if you need it. Variable flame size. Uses 1lb Coleman cylinders. Great for igniting charcoal grills, campfires, smoke tubes for smoking, etc.

1 year plus and this thing works 100% of the time!
I've used this for well over a year and have had zero issues. The spark igniter works every time, the fuel knob is easy to handle, it's light and well balanced (it won't tip over when you put it down), and it throws out a great flame! I use it mostly to light my Firepit, and it's fantastic. The little green bottles last a long time if you're just lighting fires and cutting it off.
