The Hue Tap Dial Switch is an amazing product that allows you to fine-tune your brightness level with ease. The dial operates smoothly and doesn’t feel as clunky as just a button like on the standard Hue dimmer remote. Additionally, the wall mount can be screwed on top of a standard switch blanking plate as the spacing of the screw holes in the wall plate are perfect. All you would need is longer M5 screws. The buttons are programmable in the Hue app, and by default, button 1 is press once to activate time-based light and press and hold to turn off the lights. Using Hue Essentials, you can more finely tune the buttons with fade effects, etc. The Hue Tap Dial Switch is made of plastic but feels like a high-quality item. The appearance is stylish; however, it may not be native to people who are not used to smart homes and Hue accessories, so if you have others in your household, you may need to explain how to use it. Finally the product is so power efficient that it only requires one cr2032 cell for power. (included and pre-installed when purchased)Overall, I love this product. It’s accessories like this that make the Hue system worth it.

Works as advertised: you can program each button to control a specific light. Dimming option is programmable as well. All these customization I have done using Hue Bridge so not sure how customizable it is without using one. Recommend!

Works with all Philips Hue lighting and is easily programmed using the Philips App (And associated Hub) you have 4 buttons you can program as well as an outer circle that can be rotated for dimming. Superbly built with smooth operation, square backing plate, this battery operated switch requires no wiring.Just an excellent and cost effective lighting control solution for any room.Highly recommended.

A useful way to control your Hue lights, and fairly customisable. If you are going to leave your existing non-smart light switch in place, the main issue is "training" everyone else in the household to leave that switched on and use this smart switch instead.The four customisable buttons are IMO a bit overkill and make the switch more confusing for the non-techy members of the family to use. I would have actually preferred a simpler 2 button version, though you can double up on the functionality to make it less important for people to remember what each button does.The Hue app I always find a bit cumbersome, and the way you set up the various functions of the switch's buttons could be more straightforward. That's an issue for all Hue products though, as they all use the same app.Overall if you own Hue lights, these are a worthwhile addition, and make it less likely that other members of the family will switch off the non-smart switch, leaving your smart lights unresponsive.

I bought this because I have multiple Hue bulbs in my home, and not all guests and visitors are comfortable controlling lights with an app. This switch stops them turning off the main switch in frustration, disabling the automations or leaving me unable to control the lights if I'm not home.With 4 dual-function buttons and a rotary dial it gives one-touch control from my landing - I have set it up as 2 buttons for different living room scenes, 1 for the external porch light and 1 for the kitchen lightstrip. The rotary dial dims the living room.Recommended

Hue lights are the best investment we made. Been able to control everything in one click such as colours, dimmer and timer.Very functional specially when out of home and been able to turn it on . Very durable last for yearsssss

A brilliant and versatile Hue switch with four scene buttons. The dial dimmer is brilliant and just what I'd been waiting for. Battery seems to last well and the quality of the dial itself is excellent and offers a very tactile experience with great levels of control.

Don’t listen to the nay sayers!There are a lot of haters of Philips hue, but there are also some great fanboys (girls and people)What can I say, does exactly what it says on the tin, another great product from Philips hue!I have them mounted over all my light switches and even have them next to the beds, really lazy I know but reduces my screen time, even have it hooked up to my Philip hue plugs for heated blanket control!
