Mechanical grenades are probably the safest form of airsoft grenade. Unfortunately due to the low noise many fields won't allow them because they cause fights about whether or not they were hit with the grenade. The construction on these is good, I did break the plastic tabs on the loading port in the first grenade within 5 minutes of opening it. Somehow the plug still locks into place without any movement so it's a quality design.

These are awesome! Not great for grass play due to the fact grass will stop/ slow down the bbs, even in short grass. unless the person/ people that your playing with will have enough integrity to say there out. Works great on a harder surface. You may want to put a piece of electrical tape across the bottom to help hold the plug on.

I only got one person with them out of a many tries trying. However maybe I could thrown them better in real gameplay.

Easily Broken, Does Not throw hard.

Great for a backup to more expensive models as well as for fields that disallow pyros

My sons friends had these for airsoft and my kids were very excited to get them for Christmas

Cool concept. But sadly I didn’t even get to use these except to test. In the field the fill port which holds all the BBS fell out of two out of 5 before I even got to throw them. Making them useless. A redesign is needed so the fill port can lock into place. Now I can no longer fill them the BBs. In other news as others have said. These do not make much noise. Which means people will likely not call their hit anyway since the BBs do not hit very hard even if you are a foot away.
