HerrZeit by Adolf Herr Quartz Cuckoo Clock - Magic Blue AH 34 QM

This cuckoo clock is beautiful. It takes three C batteries. It is made of wood. It is clean-cut and modern, in retro-modern way, and exactly the style and colors I was looking for. The pine cone counterweights are merely ornamental. The clockworks are electronic quartz timing. The pendulum does swing. (Sometimes mine has a faint squeaking noise from the swinging pendulum, and when I get around to it I will see if I can remediate that.) The cuckoo function is very cute; the actions of appearing out the shuttered window, stooping and fluttering wings, while cuckoo-ing the number of hours, on the hour, and retracting back behind the shutters is all very fun. The volume control is a nice feature, as well as the three-way option switch for music, no music, and silent. The light sensor is a bit sensitive, and I had to re-arrange a nightlight to an outlet further away, so that at night it would automatically switch to silent mode.

I am so happy with this clock. It came early, well wrapped, beautifully made, and it is like a little blue jewel on the wall. The cuckoo is lovely, so are the melodies. It’s brining such joy. Thank you, Herr Zeit.PS A little note for those in Oz, get the C batteries, not AA.

Great craftsmanship! I was really impressed unboxing this clock. It is really charming with all the colors and attention to detail. The blue is very rich, and the sound quality is really nice too. I do wish it were a little larger, but really love the clock! It definitely adds something unique to our home.

We like the clock very much but issue was with tracking. We had though this item was lost and I have seller bad review. Item tracking was for Landmark and it came Canada post instead so it was not where I was expecting it to be. As for this clock it is fantastic true coo coo clock no lie! Bird is awesome! So are the tunes it plays on the hour when you see this work you will appreciate the skill in making this clock!

It looks amazing on our walls! such vibrant colour, albeit a bit small but still a beautiful clock nonetheless!
