Nice lock with clear display. Needs a separate hub to use via phone app or Alexa device. Would be nice if their hub would handle multiple locks instead of one per lock. Currently have one with a hub and second without.

Smart locks are now a commodity and there is quite a variety to choose from. The quality and elegance of Lockly is on par with the well established brands like Ring or Wyze. It was a breeze to install it, especially if you already had a previous lock or pre-drilled door holes. I absolutely love the automatic self-locking feature after a door is opened and closed. In case you shut the door but forgot to lock it, it will do it for you after 15 seconds (though it can be turned off if it's inconvenient)! What I like about this particular model is a touchscreen where key pattern change after each opening/closing. This way your pin code won't develop an obvious pattern if you use it often (as it would for mechanical key patterns). This unfortunately requires the use of 4 AA batteries which could be annoying to change. But it's not a big deal if batteries are already dead because you can use a regular key to unlock. I can't say Bluetooth feature is useful at all since I can't think of any real use of it. Bluetooth requires to be in close proximity but if you're nearby you may as well open it yourself without using an App on the phone which to me seems like a potential security threat. If anything, WiFi would be a more useful feature so that you can open/close it remotely. I wouldn't recommend this lock for elderly as it's not as straightforward to open. If you want simple solution, buy a purely mechanical lock. I just wanted something more elegant and fancy, which this product delivers so it absolutely deserves 5 stars!

I love LOCKLY products. Very easy to manage with pet sitters. However, now that we’re in the colder months again I find my LOCKLY acting strange. I’ll unlock the door and it’ll auto relock right away before I can even open the door. While I’m glad my house is secure, it can be a bit inconvenient.

Extremely easy to install when replacing your original deadbolt. I didn’t have to change the striker or adjust anything, it just dropped right in. Also very easy to set up access and the app is great. Just in case you’re thinking this has a fingerprint reader, please note that it does NOT. The fingerprint button on the keypad is just a button. I had thought it had a fingerprint reader as well since some of their products have both, but this one does not. There is another lock from this company that has it, without the keypad, which is what I ended up switching to. I’d rather have fingerprint recognition that have to enter a code, but that being said, this thing looks better and very high tech on your door. It’s still very convenient and the rotating numbers are a great added security feature. You can connect to wifi as well for more features, but it requires purchasing a separate gateway.

Numbers don’t show up properly so Can’t read them. Locked out of House for 2 hours. And touchpad sucks. Tried to call support. Couldn’t get through.

This lock was easy to install and setup. It detects your phone to automatically unlock your door which is really nice. It works every time and has given me no issues. At this price I could not be happier. 5 STARS

With its great touch screen that rotates the numbers so nobody can figure out what your code is even if they see you enter the code, this Lockly is the most advanced smart lock I have ever tried. And I have tried many! Although I would rather have fingerprint reading, it uses Bluetooth proximity to unlock it without entering a code or using the app or a key. You just need to be close enough. Since fingerprint requires another more expensive model, I am okay with this one. I do care about looks more than I would like to admit, but it does look good. And because this is to protect your house, sturdiness is even more important, but it feels very sturdy. What I don’t like is that to me, a smart lock is one that I can connect from anywhere in the world, give or remove access to anybody remotely, or be warned of any access to your house while you’re gone. This model does give you that option, but you must spend about half the price you paid for it to buy a Wi-Fi hub, also known as a gateway. Why don’t they just increase the price if they have to, and include that hub for a more reasonable price? Unless you already own one for whatever reason, you will have to spend that extra money if you want or ever need those advanced features. Add that to the actual price of this lock. I would recommend it, but for not including a hub, which I’m waiting to order one, I’m giving it “only” four stars.
