First off this works great for your 12oz and 8oz cans. It won't fit a 16oz energy drink for instance, but its an opportunity for a larger design. My wife uses ours constantly because she "forgets" to restock her sodas. The sweet spot with ice is enough to create a line on top and bottom. you don't need to fill it with ice since it spins. As the ice melts the motor does have trouble keeping up since the ice will become a sort of wedge on the side. Another opportunity for a bit stronger of a motor or a plug-in version. Going to go ahead and give 5 stars with advice for future designs since it works exactly as they advertised it does.

Ok I’m switching my bad review to a favorable one! When it came, the suction cup was missing! However, I later found it! It must have somehow fallen out of the box and packaging (still not sure how it happened cause I hadn’t opened it) and ended up in a bag I had put some of my Christmas gifts in! Also, we originally had trouble with the motor staying on, but once we found the suction cup and were actually able to try it, it worked like a charm!!! So we’re very happy with this product after all!

So it was a pain to break this in, the first 2 days of use the suction cup worked to well.Now that it's broke in I came back to edit my review.Basically this thing is a horrible design and seems to need the can to be flat and level to work good. Unfortunately the odds your ice cubes under the can will be the perfect size is not good.So I found holding your finger under the motor to keep weight off it works amazingly.This thing is touchy but since it only takes like 30 seconds I don't think keeping a finger on it is a big deal.How it works is you throw like 6 (or more) icecubes in the bottom then the can lays on top of them then I put like 4 more on top and turn it on. Those 10 cubes should get you 2 to 3 cans very cold in 30 seconds each. You can go longer if you want ice cream cold.It's not as ugly and play as it should be but once you figure out to keep the can level it works perfectly so I gave it a better rating of 4 stars because it works better than I thought it would however needs a finger to assist it.I have a counter top ice maker (like $130 here) for the garage that makes ice in 8 mins and puts out 28 pounds a day.This next to my ice maker is a awesome combination as I can grab a warm beer or soda out of the garage case and have it cold in Seconds.I could get a fridge but since I don't need it daily this is way better and saves power.If you are the type that wants instant plug and play you may throw this out before you break it in but if you stick with it through a case of beer you'll get it down and won't even notice its faults anymore.Hope this helps because I had to tinker to figure out the key was to keep the can flat to get a fast spin and perfect results

The suction cup does not stay clipped to the motor. Too much ice and it stops. If there ice isn’t placed near the top of the can, there can and suction cup pop off. We used it three times before it completely quit on us. Very disappointed. Would definitely not recommend.

Bought this as a Xmas gift for my brother in law. He loves it and it does what it’s supposed to do to. I had my doubts when buying it but no explosions lol so I am very satisfied!

Does not chill as fast as it says. Product does spin correctly if ice is not level.

This thing is awesome!!!! Highly highly recommend. My dad is a psycho when it comes to his soda being the coldest it can possibly be without actually being frozen. Before dinner, he puts his soda in the freezer (after already being in the refrigerator) for like 15 minutes and there’s been times he’s forgotten he’s left one in there and it’s exploded all over our freezer. Well not anymore! This thing is awesome . I tried it with a mini can of Dr Pepper and at first it would spin for a second and then the can wouldn’t spin but I realized there was ice where the spinner was so I cleared that out and counted to 60 , opened the can you right away - no explosion- and it was like it had been in the fridge for hours. I got this for my dad for his birthday and I am SO excited for him to open it! He’s a very impatient person so the fact that his soda will get cold in 60seconds is AMAZING. The material feels a little cheap but it works perfectly ! Never would have thought of this idea. If your on the fence on buying it, buy it! It won’t disappoint!!!UPDATE: (a few months after buying it and writing the above review ^^)I still agree with what I wrote about the product BUT apparently it is not made very well because it was only used about 3-4 times max before it stopped working out of no where for no reason? We thought the batteries were dead in it so we changed the batteries multiple times, in multiple ways & it just wouldn’t work. It sucks!!!! I got this as a gift for my dad and we were both so excited for him to be able to use it because he really would benefit from it & he only was able to use it like twice. Ugh so angry I can’t get a replacement 😩😡
