I have 2 of these purifiers on high at all times. I have 7 cats, so there's a lot of hair in my house as well as dust from the 6 cat litter pans and 1 Litter Robot. The filters for this purifier are awesome, but expensive. Yes, they last a while, but I have to change them more than the average person. We have 1 at work and I still haven't changed the filter on that one. It's been running on medium non-stop for about 8 months and still looks clean, whereas mine are filthy by month 4 (filled with dust). Anyway, these pre-filters have been great. They catch the majority of the cat hair and a lot of dust too. I throw them in the washer at least once a week. If it weren't for the pre-filter, I'd go broke buying main filters constantly. So I have 3 of these cloth pre-filters for each unit and change them weekly, sometimes more. They wash great and have been holding up well. They're easy to change. I like the pretty colors. I wish they'd make some more colors. I can't say enough good things about the purifiers. I have a lot of sinus issues and allergies, and my mom has the same problems with asthma on top of it. Before I got these, I had hives a lot and my mom used her inhaler most days. Since using these over a year now, it's changed our lives. I consider these an absolute need in our house. I don't ever want to live without them again. Thank you Blueair! It's so much easier to breathe, we can feel the difference in the air and our health has improved.

Love the color. Does a great job filtering dust. A must have for this air filter. Buy several in different colors to change your looks and have spares when you need to wash it.

This is a pricey air-purifier but it's well built and works great. I recently adopted a very, very smelly dog. Not just a dog that smells like a dog, this is a dog that has constant skin infections which smell like molding bread and fluctuance that can make your eyes water. Walking into the room where he's kept full time (300sqft), no longer like walking into an invisible wall of stench. The cloth outside filter keep his fur and dust from mucking up the filter so the filters last a long time. On the highest setting it sounds like a medium speed fan, but on it's lowest setting it is nearly silent. It sits right next to my bed and does not disturb my sleep, but the button light is always on. It is a soft glow and not a nuisance on the low level, but on the highest setting it is a little too bright for sleeping right next to.

I like this fabric trap, it collects a lot of dust and other airborne pollutants. It protects the inner filter so it stays cleaner longer. Twice a month I vacuum the exterior of the unit and the fabric after first unplugging the unit. Approximately every 3 month, I unplug the unit, release the upper section from the lower part and remove the fabric and replace it. I machine wash it and lay it on a drying rack to dry.

This filter cover is compatible with the Blue Air +211 air purifier. It is made of a stocking-like material that is easy to clean and maintain. The cover can be washed and dried in a machine without any issues. It is simple to install and does not produce any additional noise compared to the original cover provided with the purifier. Furthermore, it does not emit any unpleasant odors.

Looks great and perfect fit. It was a good price and I like the look of it in my daughters room.

These catch a ton of dust!

First, I'm an avid fan of a famous review company, but we aren't allowed to say who that is... They rated this air purifier at the top of the list. I have two other air purifiers, an Electrolux which also does an excellent job, and an LG which is pretty good. But this one... It's really simple to use, and while it seems a little big, I noticed the difference overnight when my nose wasn't itchy and I wasn't coughing throughout the night. I have a whole house electrostatic hepa filter on my furnace also, but I keep the damper to my bedroom turned off. A cat and a dog, and three litter boxes contribute to the dust. But when I woke up the first morning after turning it on, and sunlight was coming in my room, you could barely see ANY dust floating in my bedroom. I wish they sold a true whole house version because it would be worth it for this big old farmhouse.

It's the same pink as seen on the photos, and it fits the purifier exactly like the other ones. Pleased with the purchase

I got a couple of colours but this shadow grey is by far the best looking and looks great on the unit. prefilter is easy to fit/reusable and easy to clean

As a first line filter it does the job of catching larger particles

Fits like a glove, right colour for our room and definitely works well as a pre filter, seeing how much of the dust/smoke that comes from our multifuel stove washes out. Washes easily too
