Excellent toy for the price! 5 min. MAX/day for happy betta!
The media could not be loaded. Cheaply made but does the job, I can’t complain!I put it against one of the tank walls and the live pothos props it “in place” as Willy works himself up, to fights his imaginary friend in the mirror.Willy does get hella pissed when I take it out after his 5 minutes are up..He throws a fit like a child and tries to fight his tank, then calms down and almost instantly takes a nap in his mushroom house. It’s the best entertainment, as long as your fish is not showing signs of stress and fin damage. make sure to pay attention to that.. if that happens.. buy catapalla leaves (got mine on Amazon too) to help organically heal your betta <3

A Fun Way to Engage Betta Fish!
The Zoo Med Betta Exercise Mirror is a fantastic addition to my fish tank! It provides a safe and stimulating way for my betta to interact and exercise. The mirror encourages playful behavior without stressing him out. I’ve noticed increased activity levels, and it’s fun to watch him display his vibrant colors. Highly recommend for any betta owner looking to enhance their pet’s environment!

My Betta is a Chicken
I have used this multiple times, both in the water and outside the tank. It floats nicely at the top of the tank which is great for some but my betta stays near the bottom unless he is going to sleep in his floating log. I switched to holding outside his tank to be sure he saw it and that little punk just ran and hid. No puffing, no exercise - just running in terror. After trying this a few days and realizing he was just having panic attacks about another fish invading his space, I decided this was a fishy torture device and won’t be traumatizing my little baby anymore. Poor little Alexander.

Slightly over priced
Kind of overpriced in my opinion shouldn’t be more than 5$. It’s very cheaply made. It does work though and make your fish flare their fins. Just make sure not to leave it in there more than 5 minutes because it stresses them out kindaCould probably save your money and just use a hand mirror at your house already and just use that for a couple minutes because the price of this really bugs me for how cheaply made it is

Does what it should
The media could not be loaded. It’s pretty simple a mirror on a ping pong looking ball to float. I got it for my Betta fish Ketchup and he def looks like a big terrifying guy when I put it in. I set a 5 min timer let him do his thing and call it a day. I will say you have to put it close to them first so they can see it but after that they will do their thing. Great enrichment.

Spartacus doesn't like it.
This is a good fish enrichment product, works as advertised. However, my Spartacus is deathly afraid of his arch nemesis, who oddly shows up only when this mirror is in the tank. He flares at him once, then runs (?) away and hides. He is a pacifist, with a sensitive nature. Results with your individual fish will vary.
