If your furry friend has claws and is fairly aggressive, this might not hold up for too many trips. I'm sure the large would have been more comfortable, but we were able to make the smaller size work for transporting two 12 pounds cats and one 14 pound cat across the country. We flew using United Airlines, and the bags fit under the seats in front of us without issue. The bowl that these come with for water is actually pretty nice! I used it to hold some water to put in a syringe while giving the vet prescribed sedative to kitty. The clip inside the carrier can attach to your furry friend's collar for some extra peace of mind. I'm extremely happy that I was able to get three of these for about $75.

LOVE this carrier. Fits my 14lb shorthair cat comfortably.Key details: each side has a double zipper which can be clipped together so it does not accidentally open. Small side zipper with mesh opens so i can stick my hand in without opening the whole carrier. Very thoughtful design!!! Love the long strap so i can sling my cat around like a gym bag but the carrier stays sturdy and doesn't collapse.

It is a great carrier however even though it says airline approved (for airline SEAT) the airline I flew would not let me use it this way. It had to be under the seat. Therefore I had to bend the top to fit it. Luckily my puppy is extremely tiny so it didn’t affect her.

Good product. Great for two months. My two YorkiePoo pups, now 4 mos old ( 3 lbs each ) and crowded and uncomfortable in it.
