In an emergency, this VAYEPRO Hot Plate came through like a Pro! We had our main gas line break, and for two weeks we had no stove or oven. I purchased this Hot Plate thinking it "might" be a nice little backup for small things. Let me tell you, this item is a solid workhorse! From the day I powered it up, I've boiled water, cooked chili, cooked stew, fried eggs for an early breakfast and hamburgers for a quick lunch! It took just 14 minutes to go from cold tap water to a rolling boil -- no, not just a simmer boil, but the kind of BOIL where the lid is jumping. I made rice. I made noodles :) This small, light weight Hot Plate made our in-house camping (no gas) a lot less of an inconvenience. I love it when a product does exactly what its supposed to do. I don't usually take the time to review a product, but this one deserves a good review. Note: I purchased a single ceramic tile (at Lowes) to put under the Hot Plate because I was a little bit concerned setting it directly on my kitchen granite; it does get HOT underneath ~~ worked like a charm :)

This cooktop works great and no issues. This is a very lightweight unit that has easy to control. It heats up quickly and I have been able to adjust it to a low heat once the food is done. Surface is very easy to clean. If you were cooking and the water boiled over, you could just wipe the glass top with a damp sponge.Also, Customer Services after care was great. The glass top surface broke, and customer services staff took care of it right away. The item was replaced, shipped and delivered within a week. We are very pleased of both item and customer services high quality.

I first noticed the level cooking surface and how attractive the unit was. I'm still getting used to the temp options but water boiled much faster and clean up is a breeze! Both real time savers.

This is a perfect size! Exactly what I was looking for. Easy to clean and most of all gets very hot really fast. Fits two skillets with no problem! Definitely recommend and I give 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The countertop hot plate itself is great. Heats up fast and gets quite hot. Unfortunately it is not able to handle my big five gallon pot (my initial intention for the hot plate. But I like the functionality well enough to keep it anyway.

After-sales service is great! Customer service emails were replied promptly and professionally. Have a 1500W hot plate that will be replaced under warranty. This is an item I would definitely recommend.

Works fairly well for steak and burgers. I use a 12" cast iron pan and it takes maybe 10-15 minutes to heat up to the right temperature. After putting meat on the pan on I put the temperature on max to keep the heat around 400 F otherwise it will drop. I use a infrared thermometer to make sure I am at the right heat.
