Purchased to replace a lock that had lost keys. The new lock works well.

Fit an old Husky truck box
I have an old truck box that was purchased at Home Depot maybe 15 years ago or so. It is diamond plate aluminum and has one large lid. I don't know who actually manufactured the unit, but this lock fit perfectly and was easy to install. It's a very short bodied lock maybe an inch or so long.

Perfect fit. I received an old Dee Zee tool box for free that was missing the keys. I had to replace all the rivets anyways so I replaced the lock with the handle removed. It honestly looks like in would have been a pain to get to the bolt with it mounted on the box.Sadly the bedliner started peeling off my handle when I removed it. I need to touch it up a bit.

good replacment
i have a craftsman truck box that i broke the lock key when moving a bed i needed a fast replacment so i orderd this from amazon and it took 3 minutes to remove the old lock and put this one in 1st time replacing a tool box lock but it was easy and now i can lock my tool box again.

Easy swap, looks great.
Perfect replacement and direct swap for the lock on my box, it took a few minutes to get the old one off, but putting the new one in was easy. Looks great, works well, feels solid. I am happy. I just did a lock swap on a box bought used with no keys, this worked perfect on a Kobalt box too.

Great product, exactly what I needed
I had lost the key to my previous lock and needed to replace the lock. This did the trick perfectly. The hardest part was getting the previous lock unscrewed and out, but once I got that done, this replacement lock worked perfectly.

Good OEM replacement
Works good, popped the old lock out and installed the new one. Design of toolbox made removing the retaining nut difficult, but a screwdriver and hammer sorted it out.

Not great quality locks
Like they say, "use it or lose it". I installed these new locks on my truck toolboxes and didn't need to lock them for a month due to truck being home in my garage every night. Both locks were inoperable when I tried to use them about a month after installing. I knew they needed regular use, but a month doesn't seem to be enough for Me.
