Still a staple brand choice for me
Absolutely love the colors. I kinda developed a bit of an obsession with pooling yarn once I was able to master it. This Red Heart yarn is the quality you'd expect from the brand and I've no complaints. This purple/gray shade mix looks really great with the blue/gray shade mix. I've started making scarves that alternate between two different colors of pooling yarn that look good with each other. I make sure to match the pattern up to the next color so it looks like someone could have almost dyed the yarn after it was crocheted. Or painted it if that's a better comparison. Anyways, as I've said, it's good quality and durable yarn at an affordable price. The biggest bargain for me is how long whatever you make with this yarn will be around for younger generations to enjoy and love.

Red Heart Yarn is the best for making blankets. Great price and great yarn.

Beautiful and Vibrant but had a weird residue.
This is my first time trying this yarn. I really like it alot but for some reason, the first skein I opened had this weird, almost waxy residue on the yarn. It makes the stitching that is coming straight from the center of the skin look dirty. That has disappointed me a little. I will wash the hat that I am making when I'm done but there needs to be some QA checks done on these skins before they are put into circulation for sale. I will buy more b/c I know this is an anomaly but I'd thought I'd be honest about this first review. 5 stars b/c the colors are gorgeous and the yarn is soft and easy to work with.

Good yarn
Nice yarn for the drive. It’s strong enough and the colours match well when joining two balls. I made a hat and scarf and still had a ball left over. Very warm and comfortable.

Very Pretty yarn, beautiful colors
It’s very pretty yarn, not as soft as I would have liked but It has Good stitch definition, works up well., and it was a good price. I’m making a Shawl and it’s looking good. I would recommend this yarn.

Needed for a project
This yarn worked great for my project. I had just enough yarn to finish with some to spare. I was glad because this yarn was quite expensive and great quality. The two skeins seem to be in the same dye lot. Which made it helpful for my project completion.

The GOAT of Yarn ✋️ great for large projects
I’ve been crocheting for years, and Red Heart Super Saver is hands-down my favorite. This 3-pack is the perfect amount for blankets or larger projects. Here is why I never switch: 1. Consistency: It ALWAYS has the center-pull tail sticking out—no "yarn barf" or digging around for an hour. 2. Color Selection: They have every color you could ever imagine, and the variety is unmatched. 3. Durability (The True Test): People say it’s a little scratchy off the skein, but it washes up SO soft. More importantly, this stuff is indestructible. I have a 13-year-old blanket that has been washed probably 1,000 times. The ultimate proof? My baby once had a "total explosion" in the blanket. I had to wash it in bleach (totally against the label instructions), and it came out looking brand new. The color stayed vibrant and the fibers stayed strong. If you want a project that actually lasts a lifetime, this is basically the only yarn to use!
