Just what everyone needs on the shelf for those special occasions. Worked great. What I did do was to heat the tubing a little to stretch it out straight. Other than that it is a good value for a simple mechanism to keep around... and siphon bad gas from the car.

This siphon hose pump worked perfectly for transferring fuel from my John Deere zero-turn mower to a gas container. The hand pump primes quickly, and the clear hoses make it easy to monitor flow. I bought this to drain a couple of gas tanks that have had bad gas in them. It does work to pump out the gas - but I have not seen it work as a siphon. It seems I could pump the gas out - but if I stopped squeezing the pump - it would stop. Not a big issue - unless you’re pumping out a large tank. I was only dealing with a few gallons in each of the old tanks. So for what I needed it for it worked okay.

Simple but effective design. Compact which is great for storage or taking on trail rides in case you need to borrow some gas and don't have room for a gas can. I used it to pump old gas out of my golf cart that's been sitting for too long. I'd recommend sitting it out in the sun for a bit after unrolling it so the tubing doesnt stay curled while trying to cyphen if you have the time. The weighted end piece definitely helps but would be nice if it was a little heavier. It got a little difficult trying to place it just right to cyphen the last little bit of gas out.

I haven't tried using this siphon for gasoline, but it's been a game-changer for getting water out of places it doesn't belong. Assembly took a couple of minutes but was easy (as long as you have the strength to squeeze the clamps that hold the hoses in place), and to be honest the plastics smelled kinda funny for a few days (problem solved by just hanging it in the garage for a few days)... but it's made toilet tank repairs, leak cleanups, and draining filled overflow containers MUCH easier than it ever was before. Just make sure you know which way the little indicator arrow on the squeeze bulb is facing *before* you start squeezing it...!

This product works extremely well, and extremely fast. I tried the tube-with-a-ball that you're supposed to shake to get the liquid going, but it just never worked for me, and all the shaking usually made a mess. So I just resumed the tried true, but gross and very suspicious mouth siphoning. Then I saw this one, got it, tried it, and am super pleased. Place the two respective ends of the tube properly—paying attention to the list arrow on the squeeze bulb—give it two of three squeezes, and you're rolling! Super easy, super effective, and very easy to keep neat and not messy. Thanks!

Not the greatest but it can work. Almost easier to just use a normal tube syphon though. Cheap enough that it wasn’t worth returning

This hose and pump works pretty good, I used to to refuel several engines around here. The quality is good, no leaks, and the hose is nice and thick. You can cut it to whatever length you like.

used this to tale out old gas from my atv… works perfect

Worked well, placed one hose in dipstick hole and syphoned oil overfill from engine. Takes a bit to fill the hose but the oil started to pump out. Oil overfill light now gone from dash.

Product is very good. It works very efficiently. It is meant for fuel but i use it to drain excess water from my balcony garden area. One less star is only for the faulty product and used product delivered on my 2nd order. My mistake that I didn't check it and by the time I did, the window had closed. My 1st order still works perfect even after 2 years.
