Purchased these to make cold brew coffee. They work great for that purpose. I clean them as soon as the cold brew is done and they clean up very nicely. They fit perfectly in the half gallon mason jars, which is why I purchased them.

Got these to replace another brand that did not last. They are well built and are easy to clean. Pop them in the dishwasher and ready to go. It's a set so you can start a new batch of cold brew while you clean the other filter. My wife loves them and uses them all summer.

These filter very well, nest compactly (I have a tiny kitchen), and work great for coffee as well as all my herbal teas and infusions. Easy cleanup. Stores right in the mason jar. Handy to schlep to office and back. Love these, might get the bigger size next!

Works ok. The mesh is pretty fine so it seems to have trouble steeping.

Works very well. I use regular ground coffee, so I do get the finest bits that come through, but it not much. If you use course ground coffee as you should for cold brew, you should not get anything coming through.

I bought a couple of big hot/cold carafes with removable strainers to make tea. The strainers were metal with holes and a plastic knob to screw in at the top for removal. The strainers' holes were too small and it took forever to pour the boiling water in. Then trying to screw a plastic knob over the steaming opening was painfully impractical resulting in the strainer falling back into the carafe and splashing. I took a chance and bought these 3 mesh beauties. They fit the carafe openings perfectly. They filter out even the leaf bits that usually accumulate at the bottom. The water flows through the mesh without hindrance. The only tricky part was removing the strainer full of hot wet tea leaves . . . I tied a cotton string to use like a sling with a loop around the strainer and a loop on either side to pull up on. After emptying the leaves, the strainers go into the dishwasher. PERFECT.

I love these!!! I love ice tea and ginger lemonades. I use 64 oz mason jars and blend up the lemon and ginger. I throw that into the jar with water and then throw this strainer in. It's perfect because it let's the ginger in and gives a stronger infusion. I also bout the pour lid with handle and use this all the time. It keeps the pulp in the water to strengthen the taste but keeps the pulp out when I want to drink it. It's also great for loose tea or anything else that you want to strain before drinking.
