The peel pads in this are one of the first peel products I ever tried many many years ago. It is a great beginner peel because it is gentle and works very well over time to exfoliate, brighten, and clear up acne. I was getting into peels at the time due to melasma and with about a month of using the peel pads, sometimes slacking off and not using every day, I could tell a difference in my skin, particularly with the lightening of my melasma spots and overall brightening. I didn't use the other products at that time... and they may not even have existed then, tbh. My results were simply from the peel pads. So, over the years it has become a trusty rusty and I always have some on hand. I've moved on to stronger peels but sometimes use these type in between or for maintenance, end of summer/beginning of fall when I'm ramping back up into my peel routines after not using them in the summer because of sun exposure. So, the peel pads are definitely effective while not being able to cause actual skin peeling off. It is more of a gradual overtime time. They exfoliate but not in an extreme way to where your skin is hanging off your face such as with a stronger peel.As for the cleanser and moisturizer, I gave those to my daughter because she goes through cycles of cystic acne. I don't have that issue so we kind of split the set. The cleanser is nice and does make a difference on its own even with the peels and vice versa. It took her redness down almost immediately.It is a really nice little set because you get to try out the various products before committing, but to really see the results of the peel you'll want a larger supply of those because it takes a little longer to see the results from it, but the benefit of that is that it won't make your face too angry with you or get too irritated such as stronger peels can.

I find that they work great around my eyes and really help lift dead skin off my nose and forehead and chin. I also only do these every other day to every three days, there are a few factors that come into play as well such as weather outside - super windy cold days where my skin is already feeling dry - I just wait for another day because applying these on sore skin isn't a good idea.After the peel apply your serum and moisturizer as you normally would - if at night I always try to apply a night cream which will really help my skin look amazing the next day!Skin type - Combination normally but I go through patches of Dry skin type. If this is the only purchase you make to cover your skin care needs, you're in good shape. First, you've got the cleaner. Use it twice a day. Makes your face feel fresh in the morning, and "washes the day off" in the evening. Then go with the moisturizer in the morning. You can immediately follow with makeup if you want to; it will go on flawlessly as soon as this quick-absorbing moisturizer has a few minutes to soak in. In the evening, though, after cleansing you'll want to use the 2-step peel. (Don't worry; it's fast and easy and fool-proof.) Just wipe your face down with pad #1, wait two minutes, then wipe down again with pad #2. They're both in one packet; super-simple. And then moisturize. Like I said, all the steps in one box. This is actually a great price for the whole set and it will last you the entire month. (You don't need much of the cleanser or the moisturizer to do the job; don't overdo it if you want them to last.)I'm in my 50s and have sensitive - but oily - skin. No trouble with breakouts or any negative reactions to any phase of this skin care regimen. I'm loving this kit!
