The light is so faint, only thing I can see is number 11; that's where the bulb is. I can't read the clock at night. The seller shouldn't sell things like this expecting peiple to pay.

Mixed feelings
I like everything about this clock except the alarm is not nearly as loud as I hoped it would be. I purchased it based on reviews stating the alarm was quite loud, yet I don't find it so at all which is disappointing as I can't use it as an alarm clock. Too, the light only illuminates one side and it's often difficult to tell the time as a result.

Cute
Quaint little alarm clock that was bought for my soon to be kindergartener bc she wanted to be a big girl like mama. Very bright easily seen in dark display. Very mighty sounding clock, even the hardest sleepers work'll wake thru this.

Love it. easy to read numbers. Keeps me on time when I use it in the bathroom while I get ready for the day. If needed, which I don't since I JUST RETIRED, there is a button on the top to light the dial.

Never worked , dial arm never moved , very fragile , do not recommend
