This was a gift for my son he absolutely loves it for his steam deck. Being able to put it on his TV stand and use a Bluetooth controller to play his games has been a game changer for him. He also likes the way that it sits up cuz it looks aesthetically nice. An extra is that it works for other devices as well but he does use it primarily for his steam deck would highly recommend to other people. I am somewhat of tech guy and so is he so the importance of the stock working at 4K at 120 hertz was pretty high on the list. He has a brand new qled TV and it does make a difference.

I bought two of these docks for two separate rooms and while they work perfectly fine when it comes to charging, connecting to my TV, and the USB ports, the network speeds do not reach anything beyond 50 - 60 Mbps, even after changing the Limit Download Speed entry to "10000000". I thought this was an issue with my internet since it's usually 300 Mbps down, but after testing with an official dock for my Steam Deck, the download speeds match what I'm supposed to have. While this isn't the biggest deal in the world, it's a mild inconvenience since it's not working as advertised.

I have one of the previous editions of this and I had a time getting it to actually work. It was glitchy, couldn’t hold my steam deck if there was a case on it, and the usb-c connector to the deck was way too short. This one is superior in every way. It can project with or without a charger attached, it can hold a steam deck with cover, and there is no lag. I’m thrilled.

The JSAUX upgraded Docking Station works perfect with my steam deck. I specifically chose it because it doesn’t block the vent on the back of my steam deck and the price was right.

Edit: Customer service was super great and let me trade in for a new one which has lasted almost a year now with no problems. Great accessory. I really liked this dock- I basically just needed a way to output my display to a monitor and charge at the same time. However, after just 3 months of light use it has suddenly stopped being recognized by my Steam Deck. It started with USB devices not working when connected, then the HDMI output stopped working, and then the pass-through charging failed. Now the dock isn't recognized at all by the Steam Deck. I'm no stranger to hardware troubleshooting, and so I've tried different power supplies, devices, restarting affected devices, and plugging devices into the dock without anything else plugged in. Nothing has gotten it to start working again. It's become a $30 paperweight. All in all, this is a great dock while it works. For $30 - $40 though, I would have hoped it would have lasted for more than three months of light use.

I bought this for my Steam Deck shortly after getting it. After over a year of use I’d say it’s a must have! The dock charges it as fast as it would directly from its charger, and holds the Steam Deck upright as a stand as well. When playing games docked, there is no noticeable lag or delay as well. The only downside is the limited number of USB slots. I’ve made it work with the 2 ports it has, but I definitely understand the appeal for at least one more. If you are on the fence get this one or the 3 port version; it’s worth it!
