Very happy with these laces, even though it took me way too long to figure out how to install them properly. I watched several YouTube videos to help me out. I haven't had any issues with my shoes becoming loose from wear. I intend to put them in all of my sneakers.

It did convert my old walking shoes into slip-ons. For those who complained the tan laces were too yellow, go with the sand color as I did. Took off a star because the shoe tongue needs support when putting it on unlike a true slip-on, but overall I'm happy with the purchase.

These came in the right color for my shoes and are easy to figure out. My one disappointment, and NOT with the product or it's shipment, is that my shoes have only 4 holes for laces (boat shoes, not athletic shoes), so I need to have them cross at the top of the shoe, otherwise they slip off my foot. This particular closure design just won't work for this particular pair of shoes. I'm still using the laces, just not the closure devices and they're working GREAT!

My dog chewed the laces on my Ecco walking shoes, so I decided to try Xpand laces. I was skeptical at first, but now I enjoy them. Once adjusted, they secure my shoes comfortably. Now I need to use my forefinger at the heel to put them on, but taking them off is a breeze. Xpand suggests two ways of using the end tabs - either outside or inside the shoe. I chose outside because it seemed simpler. It works fine, but next time I’d do inside as it would look better. Once a choice is made, it’s impossible, or at least very difficult to make a change. Wouldn’t object if they were a bit thicker.

Looking for a tan, elastic shoelace for my all-tan Adidas seemed impossible but alas, my search is complete! They're absolutely perfect!

I have one arthritic hip (already had the other replaced), which makes tying my lace-up hiking shoes very difficult and painful. I'm still adjusting to these elastic laces, but they have made it possible to slip on the shoes, which is a godsend! Other people with this problem may want to also get one of those long-handled shoe horns.

I used these in a pair of keds and they work great but sometimes the fastener that holds them in place sometimes rubs my foot. Still definitely love these, I just wish the fastener was a softer material

I can't go back to regular shoes laces now. Nothing to tie and no bow flopping around so they look clean and tidy all the time and are a breeze to put on. You just slide your foot in and go. I have a high arch and the elastic actually makes my shoes more comfortable. There is a bit of give when I walk so they feel amazing. To keep my heel from coming out I run the laces all the way to top hole. I have some odd shoe colors but I was able to match the laces pretty easily with their wide selection of colors. I even added the reflective ones to my running shoes. I tried those Hickey bands and found that they were hard to get the right adjustment (foot falling asleep or shoe falling off) and after a few months the plastic must have worn out and started breaking. I have had Xpands for over a year on some of my shoes and they haven't broken or stretched out, ever! My entire family is hooked on them.

Found the laces to be exactly as described. Easy to install, look great. Used them on a child's boots and another set on some casual shoes both for an 8 year old. Easy to slip on (as long as he remembers to pull the tongue up as he slides his foot in) not the fault of the laces! Have only had them a short time so don't know about durability yet but seem like they will last. Life made easier!!😊

That’s a lot of money for 1/4 inch elastic - I have a 200 yard roll of that in my sewing box!!

Great product! They work as described but the installation is tricky. The back of the package gives you 3 pictures but little guidance. With a bit of finessing they were installed and they definitely worked
