For best results: hold, leveling and curing its recommended to use all of the notes steps from this same brand. You can use different gel /shellac colors than Cuccio

I use Revel powder & liquids but need a primer for longevity, can I use this primer?

No. It’s oil. Do you need a dehydrating primer. Cuccio has a step 1 nail primer that I use with my Revel liquids.
