I purchased this puzzle for my mother who is struggling with dementia. Most puzzles are getting too complicated for her, so I thought that I would paint something appropriate for her skill level. I'm impressed by the quality of the wooden pieces. They are strong and easy to remove and place into the holder. This will make it easier for my mother, as she sometimes struggles with normal cardboard puzzle pieces. Often the pieces will come easily apart. That won't be a problem with this puzzle. The pieces do not come easily apart. I'm looking forward to painting this over the holidays so that I can then try it out with my mother. It's a very nice solid wooden puzzle for the price!

I used acrylic paint and painted a picture on the puzzle. It turned out really well.

Good choice

I used acrylic paint and hand painted for gifts. I did try making a copy of a painting but I had trouble getting it trimmed and cut out for each puzzle piece.

I used these to create a dry-erase puzzle to practice spelling. They're a bit rough and required some extra poly; however, they're thick enough, I could've easily sanded them had I thought of it beforehand.

I made an Advent calendar puzzle for my wife who really likes to give unusual Advent calendars to friends.

I wanted to put these inside Easter eggs as part of a scavenger hunt, but 1/2 of them were too big. Otherwise, great quality.
