Absolutely amazing bulbs. Super bright and energy saving. Mine has run daily for 2+ years without a need for any replacement. So idk why so many reviews metioned theirs were shortlived, at least all 3-4 bulbs of mine are very durable and had lasted for a very long time. I think two would be enough to light up a room given the right kind of lamp... By placing them in diagonal corners. I purchase a plug remote and a basic lamp separately to turn this into a remotely controlled lamp. Note that this is bright, white light and is not the kind of light want would want to use before bed.... Won't feel sleepy that way xD Downside is the lightbulbs do turn scarily hot within seconds..... So I do try to avoid leaving it on if I'm not home, and they've been fine for at least 2 years. Another down side is that these bulbs are expensive... They were like $30+ per bulb at one point. I saw them at 20 today and plan to get another one as a backup. Thought I'd write a review coz I really like this product and would want them to stay alive as a business.

I've had these for a couple years in my garage, they really light it up bright as day. Good color fidelity, great for working on projects where I really need to see what I'm doing. I borrowed one out to use for side-lighting in a portable clamp-lamp with metal reflector dish when I was shooting portraits of our baby daughter, it worked great until she got hold of the lamp and knocked it over, separating the bulb from its base and severing internal wiring. It went into a drawer for awhile but a few months ago I got it out, re-soldered the broken wire and reattached the base, and since then it's been working like a champ again in my garage. Runs hot to the touch so give it plenty of space to breathe.

Super bright bulb, and it worked perfect for a very dark area that only had I light source high up. When a 100 watt bulb couldn't even add light to this dark room, I turned to this. Best decision I made because now it's as bright as if there's 4 light bulbs in the room. This made it look like it was made for this room.

Very bright, heavy, expensive and only lasted 6 months and now I try to get it replaced as it says there is a 5 year warranty from the manufacturer. Update: Still nothing from the company on a replacement after sending an email on my own and also having Amazon send one on my behalf.

Brightest light bulb I've ever purchased. Excellent outdoor security light. I like it. Will be buying several more.

Do not work in the cold. I love Sansi lights but I have found that whatever drivers or caps they use do not play well outside in the cold. They simply shouldn’t be outdoors in the winter unless you want to see a lot of flickering. I would 3 star every Sansi light if it were possible if they say they are rated for outdoor. I do love Sansi for inside though!

I have been very happy with all the Sansi bulbs I have purchased. This one is the brightest yet, but it's too white for my room (5000K). This is not a defect; bulb color is exactly as advertised. I will wait for a warm white version with these same 6500 lumens -- none seems to be available yet. Will use this one in the garage instead of the living room for now! Retroactive 5 stars to all the Sansi 4000+ lumen bulbs I have purchased over the last few years. :)
