Bed Spindle Block Assembly for Okimat II Bed Motors

On my sleep number bed that I purchased in 2013. I have the adjustable base with the okimat 2 motor. The spindle block on the FOOT of my bed actually shattered so it was very hard to find the replacement. I looked everywhere for the part and it took me forever to figure it out. I received the part and took apart the motors casing and replaced the part in a matter of 20 minutes. However, I did learn from a youtube video that you have to put a little dielectric grease that has to go on the bearing and to make sure that the bed is flat before you put the new block in!! Well worth the money and time not to buy a new adjustable base or take it somewhere to get it fixed. Good Luck!!

Works just fine although it did need to be reversed. Was spinning the wrong way, you fix by switching the lead wires on the circuit board, didn't look like they could just be removed without soldering but they could, the ends were terminals.

Does not come with magnets. Had to swap them from old gear and modify with Dremel tool to get magnets to fit. Then the found the gear and threaded rod had runout. Block height is too short, had to shim the bottom to make contact with limit switches.

The adjustable bed MUST be fully lowered before you can remove the unit which contains the Okin Bed Spindle Block Assemblys. (Our bed is a Sleep Number model). The bearing failed in our spindle block assembly. It should have been a thrust bearing rather than axial bearing. The repair part with shipping was around $60, far less than a service call. I'm very satisfied with the replacement part. No instructions were provided.

My Dumb Brother in law found out you cant use the bed to lift a 400lbs Lazy Butt up to a stand without stripping the bed out . He Bought a new Bed I fixed the old one for less then 40. My labor was turning a screw driver very easy fix even my Brother in law could have done it HA

Fits the okin adjustable beds like a glove.

Only needed to remove 11 screws and pulled old block out and drop new one in. Saved at least $100. If the motor sounds like it is working but bed doesn't rise up, this is probably what stripped itself out.

J'ai vérifié avec l'original et le block pour lever la tête du lit, les filet de la tige ne sont pas comme ceux du block pour lever le pied.

Funktioniert super als Ersatzteil für den Motor einen Boxspringbett. Einfach zu montieren nur wenn Motor ausgebaut ist.
