Best earplugs I've ever tried
Hearos put other manufacturers (3M, Honeywell, Macks, etc.) to shame. These are most similar in feel to Moldex "sparkplugs" when I roll them up in my fingers, except they are slightly softer, wider, and shorter, thus they are significantly more comfortable for an equivalent level of protection despite the apparent density/firmness of the foam. The Moldex ones can plausibly provide greater protection when inserted further into the ear, but I find the that to be significantly less comfortable (reduced compliance) for not much gain. Also, if you dislike fully seating earplugs by pulling your ear open and all of that, these still provide some hearing protection even when partially seated unlike other manufacturers which require the foam to be compressed within your ear to provide protection. If you're picky like me, these are the perfect choice. These earplugs are easily my favorite among all that I have used. I only wish they would sell them individually packaged so I can hand them out to people and stuff without it being weird. One caveat: if you live in Australia/New Zealand and your workplace prohibits class 5 (i.e. "class 4 only") hearing protection due to over-attenuation (inability to hear alarms and such), these probably fall under that category despite the lack of AS/NZ cert at the time of review. Personally, I can hear the important stuff perfectly fine through these, so it's probably not a big deal in most situations, though it's something you should keep in mind. The way I see it, I'd rather workers wear better protection so their ears stay sensitive instead of reducing hearing protection to make sure they can hear alarms through their hearing loss.

Best ear plugs!
I bought this tub of ear plugs when they were on sale. I am a light sleeper and in grad school. So, these are used daily for studying and sleeping. They are comfortable and block most noises. I have very little ear canals and they fit nicely without feeling too tight.

I am addicted to these ear plugs
I just love these ear plugs. I have tried many other brands and they can't compare to these. They are comfortable, fit in my ears nicely, and plug my ears good enough to fall asleep with a husband who snores like a freight train. I'm pretty sure these saved my marriage. They are also excellent ear protection when we go to the gun range.

Great Noise Reduction, Slightly Firm Fit
The HEAROS Xtreme Protection Foam Ear Plugs do a fantastic job at blocking out noise — the 33dB rating is no joke. Whether it’s for sleeping, working around loud machinery, or attending concerts, these plugs really cut down the volume and help protect your hearing. The bright blue color also makes them easy to spot, which is a nice touch when you’re going through a big pack like this. That said, they’re a bit firmer than some other foam plugs I’ve tried. It can take a moment to roll and insert them comfortably, and if you have sensitive ears, they might feel a little snug after long wear. Still, for the price and the protection level, this 200-pair box is an excellent value and lasts a long time. Overall, a great choice for anyone who needs serious noise reduction — just expect a slightly tighter fit.

great soft ear plugs
After trying about 30+ different earplug brands/models, I've come to the conclusion that my ears are a bit more sensitive and I need a very soft ear plug. Hearos were the only brand that met my needs for comfort. They do a pretty good job stopping noise, as long as they are installed properly. Knowing the method to install matters: 1. Roll it between your fingers, make sure there aren't big folds in your rolled earplug, 2. Put your left arm over your head and use your left hand to lift the top of your right ear to open the ear canal, and 3. Use your right hand to insert the earplug into your right ear. 4. Then repeat with the other side. These steps are appropriate for most disposable ear plugs.

My partner snores appallingly and these earplugs are highly effective in reducing noise levels so I can get a decent night's sleep. Roll them between thumb and forefinger, insert them fully and let the foam expand. Peace at last!

I am very pleased with these earplugs. They are excellent for use when your partner snores. While they do not eliminate the noise entirely, they do soften it to a more gentle level. They are comfortable for side sleepers and represent a great value.

These Hearos earplugs are simply fantastic. They are made of high quality, dense foam that can be reused a lot before needing to throw out (unless they get filthy from use). I use them both professionally and at home. For professional use they’re fantastic at blocking out a lot of the damaging noise from working with power tools and machinery. They importantly fit snugly without hurting ears after long term use. I have used many earplugs over the years and nothing comes close to these for comfort and performance. For home use I often use them to sleep as I wake easily. They’re soft, comfortable and I have no issue wearing them for the entire night. They won’t block out an alarm (for me at least) but they help block out other noises that might disturb your sleep. If you use them often, getting them in this size is a no-brainer for value for money.
