I have the sliver 10 in clock. This is a very nice looking clock. The bezel is slim, and looks simple and classic. The red second hand is a nice contrast. It also came with a mounting 'star' like pin to attach to the wall. But I hung it on the push pin which was used for the previous clock.The second hand sweeps smoothly. It is silent. If I hold the clock mechanism right next to my ear, I can hear a very faint rapid ticking (perhaps at 5 ticks per second). Certainly cannot hear it from 12 inches away.It has been working fine for the past month or so, and keeps accurate time. Prefer this to the atomic clock, since I can set the time 2 minutes ahead, to start office meetings on time. I'm probably going to get a smaller one and for a different time zone.

This clock fit my needs perfectly. Large, clean face, super easy to read at a glance, ( as in, the minute hand is significantly longer than the hour hand, so no having to squint at it & try to decide if it says 9:00 or a quarter to 12....lol:) I ordered this to replace a clock in my garage, so very often, I'm looking at it from a distance; it's mounted on the back wall against the house, and I may be on the driveway. I looked at MANY clocks that I liked the look of, that did not fit the bill. This clock keeps perfect time, & the frosting on the cake: NO ANNOYING TICKING SOUND!! The second hand does not move in "jumps", but in a completely smooth motion, and is 100% silent. I have other clocks that drive me crazy late at night when house is relatively quiet, and I can still hear the "tick, tick, tick" noise. (think "The Telltale Heart"......haha). BTW, this clock comes very well packaged/protected. Super pleased with this purchase, will probably replace my other ticking wall clocks, (i.e in my office) with these as well. Highly recommend!

Absolutely silent clock!I bought the 16” wall clock to sit over out tv so I can see it in the partial darkness of the early morning. It fits there nicely and obviously very easy to read but unfortunately, due to my blurred and double vision, even this large clock is a difficult to read from 6 feet away. That’s my vision problems! I really wanted the numbers illuminated but it seems like they’re all black with green illumination which I don’t want. We glued a big picture hook to the back of it so we could hang it from the easel that holds the television. Can’t answer to battery life yet since have only had it up for 2 weeks.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Main reason was reviews described features I wanted, and the note indicating this item was not returned as often as other similar items. The clock was very well-packaged. I immediately set it up. Very quiet. Hadn’t considered this, the red second hand - which is smooth & silent - is easy to spot and the minute hand length makes it very easy to distinguish from the hour hand.

First the good news: the clock was simple to set up and quickly synchronized with the time services. It is handy to set the US time zones (I guess as long as you live in the Continental US, not Alaska or Hawaii). It was also easy to set it for DST. Five stars for ease of use.The bad news? The minute hand is exactly 1 minute off. It looks like I can remove several screws are manually move it to the proper position, but a precise time instrument should first be accurate. 1 star penalty for the need to do quality control.

Our 14 " clock arrived perfect. Striking to see it's simple design. My wife set it up. Put in the battery and it started immediately. Already set to eastern time. Clock hands stopped on correct time for us.All it has to do is keep perfect time continuously. Really appreciate the looks, easy set up and hopefully it's accuracy.

I have used this clock for several months and find it to be very good. It is large enough to be seen across my 25 foot room that encompasses both dining and living room combo in a condo. It has a second hand which sometimes serves a purpose. It keeps good time and is exactly as advertised. I would recommend it to others and would order it again if I needed a large clock. The silver frame looks nice in my room. The face is white with black letters that makes it bright enough to read the time easily from a distance.

Received on time. Packed well but box end was open when received. Nothing was wrong with clock. All parts were included in box despite being opened. Clock is of good construction and works like it's suppose to. It set itself by the atomic clock. No more changing clocks with time change. Just insert battery and it does the rest.
