This is a solid device. Has USB ports when I am charging something. I most definitely use the outlets. Versatility is questionable, as it is securely screwed into the wall. It’s easy to wipe clean although I haven’t. My place is under construction. LOL. I love the design. Easy to use and install. I prefer this to an obstructive power strip. However, it is listed as a surge protector but I had a fuse blown while using my heater in this. I probably wouldn’t put anything in it that pulls too much power. A definitely pro is the screw that securely fastens it to the outlet. You don’t need a wall plate. A con would be that if you want to remove it, you need to use the drill or power screw driver. The screw is rather long, as it should be. It will just take more time, removing it manually.

We’ve only had these plugged in for a few days but so far so good. My son had three plugs and three USB devices plugged in within five minutes of installation. I love that they have built-in surge protection. Hope I never have to know whether or not it works, but it’s more peace of mind than a regular outlet. Positives: Really convenient. Lots of outlets and USB options. Very happy that it has USB C slots - the main reason I bought this particular item. This thing is very sturdy and the included screw keeps it firmly in place. It adds extra outlets without the inconvenience of a power strip. Something about a power strip cord laying on the floor just irks me for some reason. Easy to install, although I highly recommend removing the existing faceplate from your outlet prior to installing. It will still work otherwise, but it sticks out even further from the wall. Which leads me to the Negatives: This thing is thick. It will not fit behind a dresser or a bed. It will need to be placed somewhere with plenty of space. Which is the trade-off for increasing the number of outlets you get in one site, but still. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase so far. I plan to buy a couple more to place in strategic areas around the house. Like I said I haven’t had these long, but they are holding up to full utilization from two technology laden kids for now anyway!

Super duper. I wanted this permanent. So I like the screw that comes with it so I can take the old face plate off, and put this on, and it is nice and sturdy and won’t fall off the wall as you fill it with the weight of 5+ plugs. Bought 12/2022. Sorry for the late review. :)

I got one of these to try because I was so tired of having to have the little cubes to suffice all my charging devices as well as regular outlet plugs for other things. I liked it so much that now I have a body enough for seven or eight outlets in my house, I’ve had it for over a year and it’s still works great Super easy to install you just need a screwdriver to remove the regular one from the wall and put this one on with a screwdriver and that’s it

Aside from the obvious providing more outlets as well as USB ports, several other features make these exceptional: - the grounding light indicator (small green ring around grounding screw) I was having intermittent issues with charging my phone. When I plugged the cord into this the green light went out. Tried it several times and with different cords - it only went out on the one I used for my phone. Which made it clear that the cord was faulty. That's not a documented function but it was certainly helpful. - The grounding screw is very long so as to go through the thickness of the surge protector unit and into the threaded metal receptacle mounting hole. This serves to both ground the unit and to physically secure it, preventing it from being pulled out or loose when cords are being plugged in and out. - USB-C port in addition to standard USB, eliminating the need for an independent charger (i.e. only need a USB-C cord). - Supports fast charging devices. I normally would not consider taking this style of device when travelling, but because it grounds itself and provides a visual indicator that it is grounded, I think it's worth adding a small screwdriver to my travel kit along with this wall charger! Plus I can leave the other chargers at home! This will charge up to 4 USB devices at a time! Safely!
