Cavernous, tough duffel bag
This bag has been around the world with me, to at least 25 countries and even to the base camp of Mount Everest. It has a ton of room in two separate sections, a top half and a bottom half, that is nice for organizing your stuff along with a top bag and a small side compartment. This duffel is tough and can withstand a lot. I wore my first one out (a tear began in the top corner and a hole was worn into the bottom) and ordered another one because I liked it so much. There are a few negatives, however, The bag will tip over and not stand upright, so you have to mind it at the airport so you don’t bang anybody when it falls over (and it will) or lean it up against a wall. I do wish it had four wheels at the bottom instead of two because it gets heavy rolling it long distances. The Velcro on the carry handle could be more robust as it wears out quickly and no longer sticks to each other. Finally, the bag is so big (and heavy, 10 lbs empty) that you can easily go over your airline weight limit without trying too hard. That said, this is still a great duffel bag and I highly recommend it.

Spacious at a Reasonable Price
I have only traveled with this bag on a couple of occasions. It seems well constructed. The bag is spacious and holds more than you realize. Hopefully it will hold up after a couple of bouts with baggage handlers. Overall, I would recommend the bag if you are looking for a large rolling duffel.

Good Bag
Second one of these I've had. The first was tearing at the bottom seam after 7 or 8 years of letting airlines abuse it. I should have bought one size smaller. This is bigger than you'd think.

Umpire Approved: Durable and Tested
I got this to carry my umpire gear in as a more affordable bag over the typical major brands. I have had this bag for about a year now and it has held up remarkably well. No issues, nothing has broken. This bag has seen over 300 softball games in the last year, dirt, gravel parking lots, its been very abused. Zippers work, wheels work, handle still extends. About the only thing that shows wear is the Velcro wrap on the handle. I have been VERY impressed with this bag, tons of room, I wanted a bag that had wheels and also a clothing compartment to keep my shirts and smaller items clean. This bad does all that. Perfect for umpiring. Will be buying another one soon as the season is over. UPDATE: I have had this bag for almost two years now. 600 plus games and its still going. Everything works. Wheels are about shot. Lots of gravel parking lots. Will be getting another one soon. I wish it had a shoe compartment at each end. That would make it perfect.

Sierra Duffle
Love this luggage. Purchased this one to replace an older version. Has a lower compartment that works well for pants and longer dresses and upper compartment for tops. The 2 side pockets work well for toiletries.

Replaced original 15 year old bag
I was reluctant to replace my old and tired High Sierra bag, but after 25 years of travel it was time to retire it. With one trip I am pleased with the overall quality and craftmanship with the new bag. My only observations so far is that the drop-bottom portion of the bag is not as sturdy as my original. Perhaps time will tell.

Zipper broken right out of the box
Replacing a 15 year old High Sierra duffle of the same dimensions. Do NOT waste your money on the new version. I’m actually happy this was defective out of the box as opposed to taking it on a trip only to find 1/2 of your belongings strewn around the baggage carousel or in the plane’s cargo hold. Shame on you Samsonite for replacing a great product with junk zippers, flimsy clips, less pockets, thinner straps, and a shorter pull handle. It looks great…as long as you don’t use it!
