Bought it to split a Freesat signal. No issues and does what it is supposed to do.

The frequency range is very good and is ideal if you're looking to prepare for docsis 3.1, not to mention the bargain price.However, the part with the sticker on feels like it's plastic, so if you grip it too hard when attaching your RG6 you will feel a lot of give and hear the odd crunch.The cable supplied is steel core with no copper coating (or at least in my case it is) which is less than ideal if you're looking for high-quality signal, so do make sure you've got spare RG6 if you need extra for your second device.Does exactly what it says on the tin. decreased my U/S and increased my D/S which is exactly what i was after.

When I attached one of the cable cords from the splinter to my cable box the metal circle you screw onto the cable box broke off from the cable. Very disappointed.
