For a cockatiel
We just tried this for the first time today so I can on review from a first use and with a cockatiel. The harness is really stretchy and I had no issues getting it on my bird birds head and wings but she kept grabbing the lower part of the harness with her feet and it took about 5 minutes to get her feet out long enough to tighten it up enough so she couldn’t grab it again. She is friendly but not handled a ton. She is 3 years old and was hatched in my house so she is very familiar with me and she doesn’t bite. I think this would be extremely difficult to get on a bird who bites when it doesn’t like something. As far as comfortability, it seems fine, my cockatiel hates it and hasn’t stopped picking at it but hasn’t done any damage and I’m sure in time she will adjust. Now for the most important part. She is fully feathered and she did spook and take off and this was perfect. The bounce back in the leash is very soft and allows you to reel your bird in while they fly without any jerking or abrupt movements at all. I was actually really impressed.I wouldn’t use this on any kind of large or medium parrots who did not have their wings clipped, not even small conures. The material is something that my African grey or cockatoo could easily be through within a couple minutes. If you were out and about even with a Senegal I feel they could eventually chew through this. But any smaller birds who aren’t known for aggressive chewing and who are easily handled I think this is great! Especially for the price.

It’s scary
So there is nothing wrong with the product it’s just me I’m so scared to but it on my little man I’ve never put a harness on him before he’s a free flyer but I thought like for vacation it would be night to take him to parks I got an xs for my love bird but I’m thinking I should’ve size up the give his neck more room is stressful just thinking about it but I’ll update if it fits or not

You must get your bird use to this before you can can use it.
I am pleased with the harness even though my bird is not use to it yet. XS will fit my Green Cheek Conure just fine. A lot of complaints about this harness not fitting. Buy the right size and it will fit. If it seems a little tight around the head, stretch out out a little before trying to put it on. If your bird is not use to wearing a harness then you must work with your bird first before putting it on. Don't expect that your can just throw it on your bird and go. Like anything else you have to make your pet comfortable and introduce the harness slowly. Overall, I am pleased with this product. Patience is a virtue when owning a bird. If you have none, you probably should not own a bird.

I bought the smallest size, still to big for my parrotlet.
Its a little to big still for my parrotlet, and its already chewed up a bit. Ill have to cut it and make it a bit smaller. The shoulder straps don't adjust. Thats the problem area. Besides that, it's fine. I like the handle for the lead.

A good harness!
I really like this harness for my cockatiel! It was a little tricky to figure out initially and is a little difficult to get on, but once it is on it fits perfectly and I feel confident my bird is going to be safe. 9/10 would recommend!

Perfect for my cockatiel!
I have a handfed super lovey cockatiel who wants to be with us ALL THE TIME. He is only quiet when he's with someone. So I wanted a halter for him so he could hang outside while we're out on nice days. I got this in the mail today, watched the video on how to put it on (it looks really tricky until you watch the video). He squawked and bit at it while I was putting it on (just like the bird in the video does, lol) but then once it was on, he was okay. I let him walk around in it and hang around inside the house for a bit, then took him outside with the leash attached. He was perfectly content, just hung out on my shoulder for a while, and then ventured onto the hammock beside me. It works great. His wings are clipped but he did not attempt to fly off, so I couldn't say how well it works for flight. I wanted it to keep him near in case he does fly, and it seems like it will work for that. So far, I'm a happy camper, and he's a happy birdy.

Holds bird securely
It does hold bird secure..it is sturdy...takes awhile for bird to get use to it..if bird isn't tamed it would be very hard to get on

Great harness
I have tried a few differnt harnesses. This one is the best I have tried so far. The hole where the birds head goes on is big enough and my bird is comfortable. It is also very easy to get on one off with no struggle.

I wish it have some lock-in clips to fit the bird.
It is hard to tighten it. You should pull the elastic strings which may hurt your bird.I didn’t like it.

Needed to cut it to take it off my pareot
It is made out of strech rubber robbon. It is impossible to take it off the bird without pain!

Clip is fiddley.
Not what we wanted. It’s not a quick clip, it’s a clunky clip which takes too long and bird get fretful.
