The dust collection port works very well with my system. I find it difficult to find fittings that are standard in PVC and woodworking equipment.

It worked good no air leaks

After a couple of months of looking for an adapter that fits a standard 2 1/2" hose and a 4" port without additional fittings, I finally bought these. Good solid fit, no additional connectors needed. Sawstop Professional to Rigid vac with one connection piece. Profile of the adapter is not excessive, so it doesn't protrude too far from the saw.

I like the fact that the reducer is made of rubber, it stretches slightly as needed and it maintains a tight seal once clamped down. I bought a few for my shop's equipment.

I got a basic kit of the Dust-Right components a couple months ago. They worked so well that I'm now fitting them to all my stationary machines. This system lets me use my dust collector in the shop without a ten-minute change-over when I need to use a different machine. Over the course of a day, it probably saves me more than an hour.

This adapter works well for connecting my dust right hose / handle to smaller benchtop tools with 2 1/2" ports. I'm using them on my portable table saw and benchtop bandsaw. The only complaint I have is that the connector will sometimes separate where the fitting goes from 2 1/2" to 4" if too much pressure is placed on it from a tight hose bend. I have noticed that one of my adapters is much more lose and prone to coming apart than the others. Generally though, this is not a problem with stationary tools but it could get pretty annoying when using with portable sanders, etc.

Works great!

Plastic part pulls out from the silicone portion when trying to remove the dust right handle. Trying to reconnect them is a big pain. They should permanently attach the two pieces to avoid this.
