I love this little vice. I had a similar vice that I purchased prior to this one that I was quite disappointed it. The other vice had way too much "slop" in it's movements and wasn't useful for any of the precision work model-making work that I use this vice for. I did extensive research prior to buying this vice after the disappointment of the other one and I have found this to be the best price to build quality value bar none. It is very versatile and maneuverable and the small optional pins on the top give it an additional level of ability that I usually only see in specialized model and ring making vices. it's triangular clamp base also enables me to place it on the corner of my work bench, which has saved me so much needed space. It has tight tolerances for this class and price of vice and smooth action. I lubricated mine with a little silicone grease and it is even smoother now. I already recommended it to my mom, who is a maker like myself, and I would recommend it to any friend of mine in a heartbeat.

Great Quality made very well

I really like this vise, very well designed and built. Works great for small projects. Can be quickly set up on different benches, I sometimes secure it to a cart for portability. I'm very pleased with this purchase, I highly recommend it.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. He loves it

Only thing is the clamp has to be retightened often to keep vice secure. For occasional use it is ok. But if you use it everyday it’s a pain

Really wanted to like this product. Appears well made. Pictures show clamp depth at 3.5”. Not true. Opening barely 2.5” and with clamp screw, you lose 1/4” of that. Will not fit on my bench top that is 2.5”. If you are clamping to something smaller, I think this would be a great vice.

Un petit étau qui fait son poids, il semble assez robuste malgré un peu de jeu au niveau du système de serrage principal. Il se fixe facilement en bord de table, et on peut desserrer la boule pour changer son orientation, pencher la pièce, etc. Fourni avec des mors en plastique pour éviter de marquer des pièces fragiles, et des tiges à visser pour assurer certaines prises. Reste à tester s'il résiste à des coups de marteau (sur la pièce tenue ! genre sculpture), mais j'en suis content jusque-là.

Ce petit étau est bien pratique. Polyvalent et nomade, il s'accroche sur n'importe quelle table, établi fixe ou pliant. Orientable facilement grâce à son support "boule", qui est bien stable une fois serrée. J'ai toutefois constaté un petit jeux entre les marchoirs et le support sur boule, c'est bien dommage et cela peut être gênant pour des coupes qui doivent être précises à la scie à mains. J'aime bien les protections livrées avec, ce qui permet de tenir sans abîmer, comme une troisième mains. Parfait pour du petit bricolage occasionnel.
